This was my first visit and it turned out to be an amazing experience! The staff were super friendly, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot if you’re a Halal food lover, the quality and flavors were on point.
Our top favourite was the Xinjiang Red Willow Roast Lamb and the 4 small dishes with 8 lotus buns, everything paired perfectly and was full of authentic taste. Definitely coming back again soon!

Not satisfied on the flat noodle its more taste of tomato sauce and the noddles is kind of Chewy. The price is expensive for one plate $22. Also when i was in the counter the cashier is trying to get service fee so i gave them $10 tip even if was not satisfied. At first i answer her “next time” but she keep repeatedly asking for service fee or tip so rather than taking long time standing there i decided to gave her. Also, when the time i was in the cashier and there’s some people behind me, the cashier kept talking to the other waitress instead of entertaining their customer first. Also the music inside was very loud. I don’t think the restaurant is clean because i saw a dirt on the plate. I paid $127 for 2 plate of noddle, 1 plate of rice, 1 plate of dumpling, and 8 skewers. Plus $10 tip. But not satisfied with the taste.

A highly recommended place for authentic flavourful Chinese food. Clean and pleasant environment with good friendly service. We ended up ordering Hot and sour soup, stir fried chili beef (must try), xinjiang fried rice noodles (its spicy and high tolerance required- but delicious), chicken fried rice and general tao chicken!
All the dishes were flavourful, serving size is appropriate and food is fresh and presented nicely.
Will come again to try other dishes.

The food here is really delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent. This is my favorite place to eat! They also have daily special dishes and frequent promotions, which makes it super worth it.

This is our go to place when we crave for authentic Xingjiang food. C30 hand grab lamb rib is what we order every time, the meat is so tender, full of flavor, juicy, it comes with very tasty soup, the price is $30 for members ($35 for non-members) we purchased the membership at $20, which is good for 2 years. We highly recommend all the lamb dishes, all the other dishes are yummy as well. The service is good, but can be more consistent. The restaurant is not big, but it is cozy, well decorated.

We had an amazing meal at Magical Taste of China! We tried the Sizzling Beef with Black Pepper, Stir-Fried Handmade Noodles with Diced Veggies & Chicken, Deep-Fried Jumbo Shrimps with Egg Yolk Sauce, and the BBQ Beef and Deep-Fried Tofu Kabobs—all packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The Xinjiang-style dishes really bring the unique flavors of China to the GTA. Carry, our waiter, made the experience even better with his friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend this spot for delicious Halal Chinese cuisine!

My experience here was good overall. The food was tasty, though I noticed the portions were a bit smaller compared to the downtown Toronto location. The restaurant itself was very nice and well-kept. We visited around 9 PM (they’re open until 11 PM), and while it was quiet with no other guests, it did feel like the staff were hovering a little as if waiting for us to finish. One thing I didn’t expect was that a $7 tip was added to the bill automatically, which I would have preferred to decide on myself.

Waiting for a table from 9 to 9:21 pm Sunday night. no one willing to sit me while there were few tables available . I don’t think they want to serve one person. Wow.

Review of Magical Taste of China
Great Chinese food with Halal options available. The dishes were very flavorful—rich, tasty, and served in good-sized portions. The atmosphere was lively and a little busy, with seating close to others, but that’s fairly typical for a popular spot like this.
Service was a bit on the slow side—it took some time to get napkins and my tea never arrived—but the staff were polite and the food was worth the wait.
Overall, a pleasant experience with delicious, satisfying food. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for flavorful Chinese cuisine with Halal options.

Really good food. But the servers never says that there is an extra charge when you pay with credit card. If they would tell, you could choose to use debit or cash. That made me have a not great experience in this place. Be aware of that.
