Having lived in Malaysia, we know what authentic Malaysian food should taste like. This place truly delivered — easily the best Malaysian food we’ve had in Canada. It brought back the true sense of Malaysia ❤️🇲🇾
The portion was generous and more than enough for my wife and me.
Malaysian Penang boy approved!!!!
Authentic food cured my homesick!!!!
Been here again today, very consistent quality, still the best laksa in town!
Absolutely the best laksa in Toronto! Really love it. This is my Laksa go to place! The fact that it’s in a food court, there ain’t any atmosphere at all 🤣🤣🤣
The curry laksa was unfortunately dissapointing. It was flat in flavour and had little chicken in it. Like, a small number of distinguishable bits, not nice pieces. Overall it looked and tasted really low effort-- extremely mediocre home-cooking at best. We were recommended this dish by the cashier because it is their speciality. Our experience was nowhere near authentic Malaysian taste.
Store says open on google maps and closed in person drove 1hour for this…
If you want to eat noodle soup, this is a good choice. The soup base is not too salty and their flavored Malay Thai chili sauce is delicious! The only thing I think needs to be improved is the chicken, which has no flavor and the portion is too small!
Went there last week, the food was good not great, they only take cash which may sometimes be inconvenient and the noodles tasted burnt (perhaps the oil). i would not go back. During a busy lunch period they had no line which was a sign but I wanted to try it either way and glad i know. Sorry for the review but i am just being honest.

Nasi lemak
Kl Hokkien mee portion smaller than mee goreng & nasi goreng & fishcake could be springier.
Kl Hokkien mee pretty good: quite a bit of yuchoy, shrimp, cabbage, fishcake & pork. Pretty tasty but could've more wok flavour. Slight bitterness from the lye.

Nasi goreng was pretty good, though mee goreng was better & the flavour was similar, but with less smoky wok flavour. It had chicken, cabbage, bean sprouts, corn, carrot, peas & shrimp
Mamak mee goreng quite good. Quite big portion, quite a bit of smoky wok flavour. Toppings varied: tofu puffs, fishcake, shrimp, tomato, yuchoy (crisp!), egg beansprouts, though fishcake wasnt springy
Very tasty Nanyang style black sauce fried rice. Sunny-side-up egg with crispy edges and the lava yolk was the highlight. Good prices as well!

I've only tried 2 items here, their Char Kwetiau and Nyonya Laksa. Some have been comparing them with one2snack so I thought I try them out. For char kwetiau, wok hei is there but taste wise I still like one2snack Char Kwetiau. Portion wise Gourmet Malaysia is slightly bigger but they are lot pricier. I find their Nyonya Laksa to be okay. But must say the auntie is friendly.
