I a here to get cookie egg tart, only 4 left and the price is lower if u get 6. She insist I take the two other 2 酥皮蛋撻, and charge me without my consent and insist I should eat it if I don’t like it give them to my son. I am not coming back ever.

We got the coconut buns, egg tarts, sesame balls. In my personal opinion, the coconut buns were great, but the egg tarts were pale, sesame balls were hard, dry and greasy even when warmed up. I also got a tuna bun but there’s barely any tuna and it has boiled eggs instead. Confusing and I’m a little underwhelmed.
If you’re looking for a snack, get the buns only. Or try everything for yourself!
Service was okay - no complains. Just the quality of the offerings.
Fresh tasty breads with really good quality ! The staff was polite and friendly. I brought 6 differnt buns back to the UK as souvenirs. My family finished the buns in two days. Will come visit again if travel in Toronto.

Quality isn't the best, but it's been here forever
The TGTG package isn’t worth the price. The spam and sausage they used were extremely salty and low quality. Plus, their egg tart was the worst I’ve ever had. Don’t let the high rating on TGTG fool you.

It is the most terrible place where I have ever been. The service is awful. She looks super angry, rude, and has never greeted anyone.

Horrible customer service. Rude attitude with mediocre food. Will not visit again.
It blows my mind that this place is still in operation - the service is terrible (even for a chinese place) and baked items are bland and essentially tasteless. Egg tarts taste off and the bolo bun is a sponge with no flavour. It's only saving grace is its located inside First Markham adjacent to what is probably the best food court in the city!

I purchased this bag from Too Good To Go for $6.99. The bakery is next to the food court in First Markham Place.
WARNING: PARKING IS NEXT TO NONE. BEST TO HAVE SOMEONE DROP YOU OFF AND CIRCLE AROUND.
The inner portions of the two slices of white bread are somewhat stale.
The two pieces of the Swiss roll are the ends of a Swiss roll, which other bakeries might discard. They are dry and contain minimal cream.
The ends of the sponge cake, which other bakeries would likely have discarded, are also included.
The remaining portions seem fresh. Overall, I would not buy leftovers from this bakery through TGTG.
Mouldy egg tarts after a couple of days!! Never experience anything like that. The egg tartsweren't that great, so provably not fresh.

Went there this afternoon and they had a great assortment of buns for an excellent price. They have low sugar options as well for those who are conscious about their health-- such as their low sugar egg-white sponge cake. I got their crispy egg tart, pineapple bun, and a milk tea. All very good tasting, I highly recommend!
Service was good too, owner/cashier was very nice and welcoming. I was the only one there when I looked around and I was greeted by the owner/ cashier and was told if you buy 6 buns, it is tax free. I feel like most other reviews, some people just like to complain, you dont see most people who are happy write a review, only the unsatisfied people are. Im sure for the bad reviewers it is simply a misunderstanding. For less then $2 a bun, and quick service, not sure what much there is to complain about.

Ordered too good to go. Get 8 items for $8. Tried the Swiss roll first, OMG, one of the best I have had for a while. There is no service as other reviews mentioned, but, these items worth what I have paid for.

First off, I want to start by saying my children love the bread here and we would come once a month from Toronto to come and get a huge stock to last us the month. Today - August 23rd at approximately 1:00 pm. we walked in to get our usual. I asked the older lady behind the counter what she was packaging as it looked yummy. She slurred her words, never made eye contact and then didn’t acknowledge that I couldn’t understand her. I thought perhaps she didn’t speak English. However, she then went to the cash started to cash me out. I wasn’t even done purchasing my bread. At this point, I noticed the extremely sour face she was giving me. At that point, I said “oh we are not done shopping”. I am not sure why she wanted me to leave but then I realized that she was truly irritated by our existence. I decided not to make my usual purchase and when I walked out I told her why. At that point, she spoke English perfectly in her response. I will NOT support this bakery any longer and if you want to save yourself from being belittled and treated like garbage then please don’t go there to make your purchase. There is another bakery with the same sort of bread in the same mall, go there instead. If I must be honest, I couldn’t comprehend what set her off and I firmly believe that her reason we’re discriminatory and she based it on the fact that we are non Asians. My children and I love authentic food from many different countries and the fact that she treated us this way goes against EVERYTHING I have taught my children. I am ashamed for her behaviour and I am not sure if she is the owner or not. However, the owner should not trust her working in his facility. Checkout the rest of the reviews. I’m pretty sure it was her. Very disappointed that we drove all the way there and we had this experience. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS BAKERY.
