Extremely poor attitude from the owners. My daughter reluctantly returned 2 of the 6 desserts- both cheesecakes as they were dry and bouncy!! They were so dry they were actually curling on the edges. But the owner (female) was adamant the cheesecake was new and was arguing.The owner (male) was very rude when I asked for napkins as the bathroom did not have any.Went for my son’s birthday. Would NEVER go to that location again.

Food was good and flavourful. LOTS of options to choose from. We had a chicken bowl and a chicken sandwich with wedges and coleslaw. Everything was delicious it's just the portion size for the chicken was very small. Maybe 3-4oz for both which seems to be a common theme for many restaurants unfortunately.

The ambience of this Nando’s is pretty good. The food was okayish and not the best . I ordered peri peri chicken bowl and peri fries. The chicken was good but the rice lacked flavour and the quantity of the rice was way too less. Not a bang for the buck though. The peri fries were good! This store only had one server when I visited and I found it weird because the store was packed. The service was good though

Chicken is not the same with other Nando’s. Nando’s Chicken are smaller but juicy and even white meat taste like dark. First time ordered at this location. Chicken was dry and tasteless. Garlic breads and potato wedges were good. Coleslaw was bland, zero taste, like raw cabbage. Service is mediocre, staff would not come to the door to give you the 80$ order even if you just right outside the door and you have 2 babies crying in the car. Scarborough location will be the only Nando’s for me, even when it takes more time to get there.

Horrible Nandos location, received uncooked chicken. After I complained the owner responded by saying you didn’t mention you wanted the chicken “well done” First time ever anyone has told me you need to specify how you want your chicken cooked. Would highly avoid this location.

I got the full pack which is a full chicken, and 2 large sides (fries and mashed potatoes) and garlic bread. The portions were pretty big. The chicken is grilled pretty well with some crispy parts and retained most moisture. This combo should feed 3 people but we finished it with the two of us. Overall pretty good, would come back for my occasional grilled chicken cravings.

The food was very tasteful and fresh. I had the whole chicken and it was very flavourful. The staff was also friendly and provided excellent service. I am definitely going here again.

Visited Aug 18, 2022. Worst customer service experience ever. Nando's is originated from South Africa, so is apartheid, who knew this branch is segregating people based on whether you're dining in or ordering a take out. If you're ordering a take out, like I was, you'll be treated like a second class citizen, you have to stay outside of their 'barricade' and not allowed to order and pay in the cashier, they'll have to yell from a distance. I complained that they're being discriminatory and made me feel that i'm dirty or something, that they have to serve me from outside of their 'barricade'. I saw people who dined in, they ordered and paid in the cashier like normal customers, yet for me I had to order from the side area, where skip the dishes or uber eats drivers pick up food. The cashier lady had to yell while serving me, since it was quite a distance and loud in the restaurant. I paid the same price of chicken as their dine in customers, but my business was not appreciated! They said the normal cashier area is only for dine in. Though luck if you're taking out, you're a second class citizen, you'd be discriminated. Customer service is non existent here. I complained, but they just wanted to argue, no apology, or allowing me in to order and pay in the normal cashier area, and still have to pay full price. I ordered a whole chicken with 2 sides, I would've left if I wasn't driving far and craving for Nando's. Never again, I choose not to support this discriminatory business. Apartheid has no place anywhere.

came here for 730pm and they said dine in was closed. I find the staff to be very lazy when the manager or owner are not around.make sure the owner or the manager are working before ordering your food otherwise you will be disappointed.

I am absolutely DONE with Nandos. Every single time I try to order from this location they do not have chicken legs or dark meat. How is it the past 5 times I have been here they do not have it. What’s more frustrating is the absolute GARBAGE and rude customer service I get. They always give a condescending/rude answer.Even when I end up getting the white meat there’s no peri peri sauce on it, the chicken is extremely dry. It’s almost as if they cooked it the day before and reheated it when someone orders it. The chicken sandwich at this location you need to absolutely avoid.In this economy I’m wasting my gas to go visit, being told they don’t have it repeatedly, someone to be rude to me. What kind of operation is this. I am so extremely upset. This is a corporate owned location why hasn’t anyone looked in this yet.

Terrible service and rude staff, went to the restroom to change my baby and the stall with the change table said ‘out of order’ even though it wasn’t and the male owner came to check on us while I was in the womens bathroom. The food was terrible, not up to the regular Nandos chicken i’ve had in the past. This was cold, dry and looked like it was pre cooked and reheated. Terrible experience and not worth the price for the food quality and service.

This place was terrible aside from it being filthy I went to the front and could not use a gift card that I had because the owner said his "machine didn't work" other customers argued that the machine work a minute ago as they were all able to pay via debt/credit and he basically just didn't want to accept the gift card which had a total of $50 on it. I assured him that he could call head office and that $50 was definitely on there he didn't want to do this and asked that I pay via cash. I'm genuinely concerned about the operation of this restaurant and work with the provincial government hence why I will be following up with Nando's corp as well as contacting Consumer Affairs Ontario. Please save yourself and your time do not support this location in Markham.

Owners are extremely cheap. Avoid this location at all costs. They are stingy with portions and their sauce!! The lady dilutes the sauce bottle for dine-in with water and she purposely only fills up a quarter at a time so that customers use as little as possible.The location at Kennedy/401 is SIGNIFICANTLY better both in terms of food quality and customer service. This location will earn my business going forward.I hope the management at the Markham/14th location learns that being cheap gets you nowhere in the long run.

Not a very positive experience. Warning: if you continue eating after 9 pm, they might actually snatch your plate. As we entered the place, we got an impression that staff didn't want us to have dinner there. With lots of ifs and buts, we were finally assigned a table. The order had to be placed before 8:15 pm! It was just past 9 pm when we were almost about to finish, and the staff actually started snatching our plates right from under our nose. The overall experience was not very pleasent. The food may have actually been good, but the way the staff handled the overall situation, it definitely left a bad taste in the mouth. If you are visiting in the evening, do so at your own risk!
