Not being from the area, I had some time to kill and decided to stop in after hearing about this place. The café was very clean and smelled great, like fresh bread. I ordered two cappuccinos and two croissants.
The cappuccinos were excellent, but the croissants were a huge disappointment—dry and tasting like they were at least two days old. For a place that presents itself so well, serving pastries like that is unacceptable. The owner should be embarrassed.

This shop was recommended by friends, and both my family and a friend’s family have purchased their tiramisu cake multiple times in the past with positive experiences. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was extremely disappointing.
Last Friday, my son purchased a tiramisu cake from this shop for my birthday. Both families immediately noticed that the taste was clearly different from before. The cake had an unusual sour flavor, which raised serious concerns about freshness and quality.
My son returned to the shop to report the issue and request a resolution. However, the staff categorically denied that there was any problem with the cake, claiming that they had simply increased the amount of cheese, making the flavor “stronger.” Based on this explanation, they refused to offer any replacement or refund.
To justify their response, the staff provided a small sample of tiramisu and asked us to try it. The sample tasted exactly like the tiramisu we had enjoyed on previous occasions. This directly confirmed that the cake we purchased was not consistent with their usual product and did not meet their own quality standards.
I later contacted the shop myself to express our dissatisfaction. Once again, they refused to acknowledge any issue, stating that the cake was “normal” and only tasted stronger. While they claimed they would take note of the feedback, they still declined to provide any compensation or corrective action.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. When a product fails to meet established quality standards, a responsible business should acknowledge the issue and offer a replacement or refund, rather than dismissing customer concerns outright.
I am sharing this experience to warn other customers to be cautious.

Very courteous staff, accommodating. They're baked goods are always fresh, and mostly made on the same day so you don't have to worry about expiring. Buying my baguettes from them going forward as I always grab them hot fresh out of the oven. Love this place as an Italian bakery.

If you like Italian style bakeries you'll be pleased. Have all the usuals including some unexpected surprises like a whole chunk of prosciutto! Expensive but not unreasonable. Quality of the goods matches the price well. Friendly and reliable staff rounds things off nicely.
First time here, not aware of debt and credit purchase minimum. The owner was very gracious and allowed me to take my latte anyway. I will be back to pay her cash but just wanted to say thank you!

Grace and her team at Novello Desserts is absolutely amazing! Her bakery is truly a gem, she has been my go-to for every special occasion.
For our wedding, she created the most beautiful and delicious butter cream cake with lemon butter cream filling. Not only was it stunning to look at, but every bite was perfection and had both our mothers asking us for leftovers. I can’t recommend Novello Desserts enough!
