Great place to hang out with friends! We came mainly to play mahjong, and they have automatic mahjong tables, which made the games much more convenient and enjoyable. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. They also offer esports, mystery games etc and there’s something for everyone. Definitely a great spot to spend a hours with friends.

Based on the reviews, Playerbase玩咖基地 is a hidden gem for gamers and board game lovers in Markham. It is one of the coolest spots in town for gaming, mahjong, Werewolf, or hanging out with friends. The restaurant offers everything from esports setups and script murder games to milk tea, snacks, and full meals. Customers appreciate the 24-hour access, which is perfect for late-night gaming sessions. The atmosphere is entertaining, and the aesthetic, hours, and food are good. However, some people are very loud and screaming, and staff said they don't have control over it. The PCs are good, but the quality of the monitor, mouse, and keyboard combination depends on where you sit. The seats are not all the same, and the throne looking chair has no height adjustment. A big killer is that if time credit runs out mid-game, the user is signed out without warning. Cleanliness was a concern, as no disinfectants are used; only restaurant hand wipes, windex, and air freshener are available. Staff is helpful, and the vibe is chill and well-organized.
