Mochi and daifuku are so yummy and soft! I love the mango cream.
Been coming here for a long time. The best mochis in town!
Best mochi in the GTA. Very fresh and delicious!
Fantastic dorayaki and daifuku. Matcha cream is refreshing and well-balanced.
I love coming to this little cafe for their tea and Japanese pastries (daifuku). There is always one flavour special to the month. This month, it’s Sakura.
Just tried their mochis and cremam dorayaki through a friend...omg the best mochi i ever had!!! The cream dorayaki was also INCREDIBLE
I will make sure to stop by when Im in Markham
We love the mochis and we ordered some for our baby shower! The season flavor was a crowd pleaser. Everyone loved the chestnut mochi and the hojicha flavor was amazing. The mochi is soft and not too sweet. If you order more than 6 pieces they are tax free. Ordering was breeze via email and I will definitely depend on them to create tasty and well loved treats. We bought our own mini boxes and mini thank you stickers and they were perfect.

With the heavy heart I have to say that quality has gone down for some reason. Went today and the filling is nothing like the soft creme they used before, also so little of it! Barely any cream filling and a lot of red bean paste. Take a look at my picture and compare to older reviews. Huge disappointment, has been my fav place fir 10 years. Sasaki please go back to your old way of making daifukus.

Located in J-town this spots fits in perfectly, I did not sit down and enjoy their pastries before but the aesthetic is in one word cute.
The service is always good here, the staff always smile and explain to me each pastry I order when asked.
As for the pastries, my favourite has always been the mochis. They are always consistently good. Anytime I bring them as treats for friends they are always well received!
Thank you Sasaki Fine Pastry for the sweet experience!

I really like this shop's matcha dorayaki! I want to go shopping every week! The store clerk's sister is also super cute!

This small pastry shop at one end of Jtown is an absolute treat. Their mochi pastries are extremely soft and packed with flavor that hits you immediately. Whenever I come here, I always get the matcha and the sesame mochi, but my wife decided to also try the coffee flavor and that did not disappoint. For a box of 4 we paid around $12 ish. Worth every penny honestly. If you are around the area, this is a must try.

Sasaki Fine Pastry is a true gem for mochi lovers. Their red bean mochi is simply delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. The use of mugwort herb adds a unique and refreshing green tint, making it not only visually appealing but also tasty. The mochi itself has a chewy rice texture that is just right. The ultimate delight is experiencing it warm and freshly made, enhancing the flavors and textures to perfection. If you appreciate quality mochi, Sasaki Fine Pastry is a must-visit for a delightful culinary experience.

A tiny little dessert place hidden away in a corner of J town. I am not the biggest mochi fan, but even I would say the drive up for their assorted mochi is worth it. Medium-sized mochi with various flavors that change seasonally.

I have to let everyone know, these are the BEST mochi in Toronto! The texture and the fillings are just perfect! Sweetness of the mochi “skin” and the fillings balanced so well, light and fluffy! I tried all the flavours, love all of them, but… my true love is matcha! They are the only reason I visit the fading J-town (sadly), these mochi lighten up my day every time!
