Bought 3 tuna buns around noon time, and when I try it at home, one of the tuna already turned bad, fishy and sour, while the other 2 was fine. Granted, it was almost 40 degrees that day, but it was only a 5 mins drive back home, so pretty unlikely for the bun to turn bad during transport.

I bought a chocolate crunchy cake for my birthday. My daughter took a bite and spit out and said it's bad. I didn't believe it at first so I took a bite and understood why. The overall product is not fresh and looks like it was made at least one day ago. There was a thick piece of chocoate somewhere in the middle which made it hard to cut. It was far too sweet for a chocolate cake in an Asian bakery. The cream is not fresh and the cake is not spongy. Definitely not up to standard. I would not come back and buy any birthday cake from this place again. There are not crunchy bits by the way. None of my other family members would eat anymore and I am forced to eat the whole thing.

Pineapple bun was cheap and delicious, and so was the BBQ pork bun. Great spot to buy some buns when you get a little hungry.

Decent egg tarts!
I was so excited to try their matcha coconut tart and black sesame cake but it tasted like old pastry :(. The cake was super dry. The tart barely had any coconut or matcha taste. For both items food colouring was used to make it look nice.
Good egg tarts
Came here to get a snack and found out the walnut cake I got has mold on it when I got home. Very disgusting and upset. I am surprised they’re still operating.
My visit to Soho today will be my last. After picking out some buns, we asked the staff person behind the counter whether they had any puff pastries today because we couldn't see any on display. My mother repeated the question because she hadn't heard the original response and the staff person glared back at her, as if we had offended her deeply by asking for a product that we needed help purchasing.
I don't expect friendly service from every business, but the staff's rude and condescending reply was uncalled for. Considering the prices at Soho versus the variety of other bakery options in the neighbourhood, I'll opt to spend my money anywhere else but here from now on.
Bonus: I've gotten not one but two desserts (mochis) from Soho that were bad/sour/rancid so apparently they don't care about their products either.
Great buns, egg tarts and milk tea. Don't forget tax free when you buy 6 or more items! Will be back soon!

This is by far one of the best bakeries. All of their buns are big and filled with a good amount of stuffing and all delicious. I had a large order of several buns and desserts and picked up early on Saturday morning and they were all well prepared and freshly baked. Great food, great price, and overall excellent value.

I bought a cake and came home to find mold. This one was still from their store refrigerator. With all the moldy ones from the fridge, I strongly doubt the other breads were fresh. They don’t write production date and expire date for all other bread. Don't go here.

I bought a peanut glutinous rice cake and a red bean glutinous rice cake. I kept them for the next day to eat. The peanut one was moldy and could not be eaten. The red bean glutinous rice cake smelled like dishwashing liquid in the first bite. I hadn’t even eaten the filling. It was terrible. , completely unable to eat

Really good assortment of baked good. Nice soft buns.
The first thing that hits you is the smell of baked bread and butter. The smell is very sweet. It makes you want to buy everything.
The buns look very delightful and fluffy. there are lots of variety to choose from. My personal favorite is the pineapple (bolo) bun (even though there is no pineapple in the bun).
The coconut tarts and cookies looked also appealing. I wanted to buy them all but we only ended up with six different buns. They were super soft and delicious. We ended up eating them for dinner.
If you buy six buns

Service was poor, I bought 3 buns and 3 egg tarts, the lady just put everything in one plastic bag, even I carried the bag carefully to my car, the egg tarts started to break. She should have put my egg tarts in a box or at least put a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the plastic bag to hold the fragile egg tarts. I was mad how unthought that lady was, she only care to sell you the tarts and didn’t care if they broke up after you paid.
