Symposium Cafe Restaurant Markham

Our server Nauman was so warm and friendly. Very attentive and great sense of humour. We were delighted to dine here tonight. He made the meal extra special with his charming personality. And I really appreciated his tentativeness to getting us an extra shared plate and getting our bill.

The food was done well. Fall off the bone ribs 😋 and shrimp bruschetta. Yummy 🤤

My coffee barista was very sweet too. Made a special sun design for my cappuccino 😘 love the extra touch. Her smile radiated across the room.

Thank you to all our servers and cooks tonight. Best date night in a long while!

I usually drop by after playing golf for couple of beers, lately the food and service has gotten better. The place looks very neat and tidy. Watching the game since the crowd is very quiet makes it better. Big thumbs up to the waiting staff..thanks..!!!

Symposium Cafe Restaurant – Markham
We had a large family gathering here, including several kids, and the team at Symposium Cafe Markham was amazing from start to finish. They were extremely accommodating with our group size, made sure everyone was comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive throughout our meal.
The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the prices were great for the quality we received. It’s rare to find a place that combines good value, great food, and genuinely friendly service—especially when you’re dining with a big family!
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family-friendly spot with excellent food and fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Our server, Niuman, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was absolutely incredible. The food overall was delicious, and the entire place was clean, welcoming, and had a really nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

I had the most wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely made me feel welcome.

Our food took too long and was underwhelming especially for the price. The place was super noisy, and cold as if the AC was on in winter, we ate with our jackets on. Anyways the latte looked good but wasn’t that great

First time visit to Symposium Cafe in the early quiet morning. Interesting interiors. How we wish your food were as good as the look of the cafe.....
Ordered avacado breakfast with English muffin which was totally a failure. The moment the food served, l noticed the dark green avacado just didn't feel right. It's soft, mushy and not fresh. Burnt edges English muffin was hard, breakfast potatoes look good yet over done and hard.
Omelette was over done too.
Waffles and coffee were ok.
3 stars and 15 tips were given to the nice interior ,friendly and attentive server, Krithika But definitely not for the food.
Much appreciated that she politely offered some other food can be prepared for us. And took out the avacado breakfast meal fee from the bill.
We also found the similar issue happened to another customer just few days ago.
We sincerely hope that the owner should considered to remove the avacado from breakfast menu if you are unable to serve FRESH GOOD avacado!

The food was terrible. Service and staff were friendly but the food was awful. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs. The avocados were out of the freezer. They had ice crystals and were not ripe enough to eat.

Absolutely disgusting I don’t know who is working in the kitchen, but definitely not a trained professional.

I served a salad with dead bugs in there literally
I do t recommend this place to anyone
Unless you want to get a food poisoning.
