We have visited this food court many times but only just noticed there's a jianbing stall. Decided to try the plain mung bean version — the flavor was decent, but it felt like they were a bit light on the scallions and other fillings. The person taking orders came across as a bit unfriendly and sounded quite grumpy. There also seemed to be some miscommunication between her and the person making the crepes. Popular Chinese breakfast crepe in FMP. $8 for the classic crepe with fried donut. Quick and efficient service despite the long lineup. Crepe was flavourful and quite large. First bites are extremely satisfying but I recommend ordering additional toppings otherwise it may be too dry and overly carby. Overall good stuff!
驢打滾Fried chop rice cake is very yummy and chewy! At first, I thought it would be overly sweet, but to my surprise, the sweetness was just right!
As for the Nutritions Purple Rice Pancake, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe it’s because I didn’t pay extra to add other toppings, so the flavor wasn’t as good but suppose this kind of pancake should be as simple as possible!
