I’ve been to Tracy’s Dessert countless times because they close late, and it’s been our go-to spot at night. But today was extremely disappointing.
We ordered 8 desserts in total — 6 cold and 2 hot. Both of the hot desserts came out completely cold, and one watermelon dessert was served as papaya instead. I get it — we had a big group, the place was loud, and mistakes can happen. We might have pointed to the wrong item, or the server might have misheard. I’m not putting all the blame on them.
But what really shocked us was the attitude afterward. The server’s demeanor suddenly turned rude. They placed the desserts on the table by slamming them down, and when we finished eating and were just chatting for a short while, they took away our teacups without even asking — even though we hadn’t been there long at all.
Overall, a really disappointing experience, especially for a place we’ve supported so many times late at night.

Not sure why this place has several negative reviews, everything I ate was super tasty and the service was good.
The popcorn chicken was so delicious for a dessert restaurant- better than most restaurant popcorn chickens. Came with a sweet-savoury seasoning powder too.
The mango and pomelo in my sago was so fresh and perfectly ripe even in November! Tasted like summer!
All the sweets are Chinese level sweet, so if you have a MAJOR sweet tooth this probably won't be your favourite.
The restaurant is also very homey and feels very cozy to eat in, like it's your grandma's house.
A little gem that's easy to miss but highly recommend. Decent prices too, can try several items and not break the bank.

One of my favourite dessert spots to visit. I've enjoyed every one I've tried so far and the tea is always so sweet and comforting. I think the space is really cute and I still need to go back and try something savory.

I was very disappointed with my visit today. I came with my 10-week-old mini dachshund puppy, but the staff told me that pets are not allowed inside. I understand that rules are rules, but it felt very unfriendly, especially since many other shops in Canada are more accommodating to dog owners. I will not be returning, and I hope the shop can consider being more pet-friendly in the future.

Poor service has ever received!
We just sat down for 15 minutes to finish the dessert. The waitress pushed us to pay the bill in a very rude way! Not recommend ! Feel very regret to pay 10 % service tips.

I had a bad experience. The staff were not polite and made me feel uncomfortable. I understand there were people waiting, but the way they spoke was rude. I hope the service can be better next time.

Food quality had drop over time. Servers are very rude, never coming back again.
Came in the first time after a satisfying noodle dinner next door.
Had walked by many years many times yet never thought of dining in here due to the exterior wasn’t too attractive, though it is how those dessert diners are like in Hong Kong.
Food was well prepared and tasty, will return again to try out more items since their menu offers a huge selection.

Traditional Chinese dessert spot that’s been around for years. It’s always a go to spot as it’s opened late. They serve a sweet hot tea when sit down but never comes by to refill.
Quality has changed over the years but we still go back due to convenience.
They also offer a wide range of savoury items like hot clay pot rices and soups.

Ordered almond and walnut mixed hot soup. The almond soup was like the powder mix you bought at the supermarket and was tasteless. The walnut soup ratio was much less than the almond soup and was tasteless as well. I'm quite disappointed. First and last time here.

We wanted some sweets after dinner and we decided to come to Tracy Dessert! I ordered the Mango & Pomelos with sago cream (it was delicious except for the pomelos on top) I would skip the pomelos next time because it gave a little bitter flavor to the sago! My friend ordered the Mango Pudding with milk and papaya on top (not much flavor in this dessert except for the mango pudding)!
