My wife chose Zen to celebrate our anniversary. I’m so pleased she did despite getting caught in post Blue Jay game traffic that delayed us 30 minutes. However, she texted them prior to our arrival and responded with “no problem. Have a safe drive”. We were greeted warmly and taken to our table in a back room. The best Japanese restaurant I’ve been to. Very traditional methods for preparing dishes and absolutely delicious food. Great atmosphere and wonderful attentive service. Recommend the Gozen at the counter - only 10$ more and it is so worth it.
Sitting at the sushi counter here was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in every piece were exceptional—perfectly balanced flavors, pristine freshness, and beautiful presentation.
