We wanted authentic mangalorean food for our house party and Ancilla did not dissappoint! The food was the talk of our gathering, everything was fresh, tasty, and authentic! Highly recommend her chicken roce curry, Tendli chana, fish koliwada and hot and fresh sannas.
I loved my experience here. It was like going to her home and she made something just for you. It was just us and she asked us spice level and if we’re craving anything and she made us two stunning fresh dishes rich in flavour. Both her and I were surprised when me and my husband ate every bite as the portions were quite large :)
We have been eating at Ancila's for more than 10 years. My family and friends all enjoy her authentic home cooking style. It is our go to place to entertain our out of town visitors. The problem is that she can only serve so many people per night. It was pain to see her turned away customers. I suggested her to use a food processor to prepare the vegetables and spices ahead. She said "no" with a smile. She insisted that why her dishes taste and smell good...
