Our favorite Chinese food go-to chain in the GTA. The flavours never disappoint. Reservations highly recommended. They text you for confirmation. We already decided what to order beforehand so even lining up for the table we put in our requests with the front desk. When we sat down it was within 5 minures the food was on the table. Our out of town guests loved it. Lots of servers around and all accommodated our numerous pesky requests for forks, knives, napkins, water, etc.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the city. The menu has a huge variety of dishes, and everything I’ve tried has been excellent. The congee is rich and comforting, the BBQ meats are perfectly cooked, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Great place for family dinners or casual meals with friends. Highly recommended!
The Queen has become sloppy.
Congee Queen has long been one of our family’s go-to restaurants. So for a family occasion, we headed again to the Heartland location with its distinct high ceiling resembling cool porcelain. This place was packed as usual with a waitlist register at the front. We didn’t wait long to be seated but the service and dishes were generally disappointing. After dropping off a pot of tea, no one bothered to check in on us again.
