Disappointing experience. I would never come here again. This place has really gone downhill through the years.1. We ordered the double lobster dinner and the lobsters were tiny2. There was a roasted garlic chicken dish that was very salty3. Rest of the portions were extremely small. For 4 small dishes including the lobster dish it ended up being $170 before tip.On top of that this restaurant scams you by automatically tipping 12% without your prior knowledge and even asks you for additional tip on the credit card machine.Be warned…

Noodles with bean sprouts and soy sauce really good here as well as the Hong Kong style Lobster. I know it sounds cliche about the noodles but try them trust me it's simple but somehow so good to me it's comfort food.

Just dined in this restaurant, it was an absolute horrible experience, food was stone cold, nothing was freshly made, they literally served us whatever it was on the carts, they put 2 orders of calamaries on the plate and charged us as 1 for $15.99, what's worse is they warmed the food up and seved it to us. Really???!!This is such a scam..I won't go back ever again!!!the bill was $100 and I didnt get what I paid for..no quality and rip you off just like..

Great for dim sum. Still has the push carts, which is always fun.

To be honest, if I could give 0 stars, I would never give 1 star. It's too outrageous. I won’t say that this place is expensive. First of all, the soy sauce is really rancid, with a sour smell. I searched all over the table for the source of the smell. I never thought it was from soy sauce. It was really disgusting. Secondly, this store's sales are really amazing. I told the same person three times that I don't want this cart, but then they were able to put things directly on my table. Is it so late? Finally, the bill here includes a 12% tip. If you insist on doing this, I can't help it. But can you at least tell the guests that our price already includes a tip? How many people will actually read your bill line by line? Many people will check out when they see a price and then end up leaving an extra tip.

They had live karaoke happening at 7:30 pm which made it impossible to have a conversation. Lemon chicken had hair on it. Servers were pretty nonchalant and unapologetic about it all.

The pros: We came in around 12:30 PM and were seated right away. We got tea and food on our table within two minutes. Close to Pearson Airport, if you have a long layover and want to get out for some dim sum nearby. The cons: Half the food came out cold or just warm, even the dishes we specially ordered. Nothing was especially tasty. The green beans would have been good if they were served hot. Very expensive ($136) and tip was automatically added to our table of 4.

I've been here twice and the service is really good. Instead of pushing the dishes, they put the food from the dining car directly on our table. I repeatedly said that I didn’t want it anymore and that it was enough. They just pretended to be deaf and dumb because they didn't understand Mandarin or English. I am simply speechless. The kitchen chefs work so hard to make delicious food. Do they know what the aunty waiters in front of them are doing? ??

Been coming to Emerald for over 25 years. Yes its a LARGE busy restaurant but worth the wait. The food is always so delicious, fresh and authentic. Also found our waiter was a bit rude this time but we were a large group of 10 and had 4 hungry kids with us! The Black Pepper Beef was a HUGE hit trying that dish for the first time. Will be back soon!

As soon as you get to your table the service is in your face. The food is too salty and overpriced.
