Taiwanese Restaurants in Mississauga, ON

“I had such a lovely time at Mabu Generation in Mississauga! I went with my family, including my two little ones under five, and they have the cutest kids' meals that are really well-rounded with veggies and a sweet dessert. The portion sizes were huge, so we got to take home some delicious leftovers!

We also tried the Taiwanese fried chicken and the hot pot, and let me just say, the seafood hot pot is a total must-try! The dipping sauces were so tasty and really made the meal pop.

I also appreciated the service style – it felt just like being in Asia with the mostly contactless ordering and payment. The vibe inside really transported me to Taiwan! Overall, we had an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back!“

“Amazing experience. I came here for the first time on the Sunday that just passed and have been raving about it since. Amazing interior and even nicer staff. I came for lunch time and the waitress that served me was super patient and nice and made sure to answer every question. Everything I ordered was delicious and even though it was a bit busy they were very quick.“

“The only place I’ll be getting my bubble tea in Mississauga because it’s the only tea house that’s (1) reliable and (2) is actually a tea house / cares about brewing quality tea. Other bubbletea places are a hit or miss. This one isn’t. Hits at least 90% of the time.“

Milk tea is good. It was the coldest drink I’ve ever gotten at any bubble tea/drink place which really surprised me. I feel like I didn’t even need to add ice! I also got a hot milk tea and it was really hot too. I saw the staff heating it up with a steam wand, which is cool.

It’s a bit expensive, though. Toppings aren’t included in any of the drinks and they cost an extra $1. I was excited to try the small tapioca here, but it was softer than I would have liked and not as chewy as I was expecting. It was more like slightly bigger sago. I also didn’t get any tapioca in the hot drink. Either they forgot, or the drink was so hot that it melted it, lol.

Aside from that, staff are really friendly! It’s convenient that it’s right beside the grocery store so I can get a treat afterwards.“
