The Captain's Boil

We had a great time at Captains Boil! The food was delicious but most importantly, I am writing this review because our waitress Victoria gave us an amazing service and was very polite to suggest things from the menu!

The food, the atmosphere, and the service were amazing. Our server Jessica was so kind and patient with explaining the menu to us and giving us good recommendations since it was our first time. She was attentive and quick with requests. Overall great experience will be coming back!

I was there on Thursday night, the food was great!! We had the all you can eat meal and it was really really really nice. The service however wasn't the best. Our server Jess didn't even come by to introduce herself for more than half an hour. I understand they were busy but they had 4 servers/bartender on the floor. Bryan (not our server) was amazing, he was the one who got us our drinks and kept checking on us even more than OUR server did. She didn't even come to our table to check on us. We had to wait for her to pass by us to stop her and ask for stuff. Then when we wanted to order our last round of shrimp, she told us that it had been way past last call. I really think we should have been informed about it earlier. Very bad service, it ruins the entire experience even though the food was the best!! Everything else was great and Bryan did an amazing job.

Went here with the family for my sister's birthday dinner. 6 adults and 1 child.
We ordered the captain's feast. Total price around $500 including 18% gratuity.

Food 2/5 stars
I have to give the food a 2 star.
Althought the side orders were mediocre.
Our mains were bad.
2x Lobster meat was mushy.
Shrimp was mushy.
King crab was okay but seems way over priced.
Our rice wasn't fully cooked and a bit hard in the middle.
Mussels was probably the only thing we actually enjoyed.

Service 2.5/5 stars.
Staff is friendly. Helped with menu options, made suggestions which was helpful. Food came out one item at a time. Then main seafood came out all at once. After all our food was served, staff didn't come back to check on us or to see if we needed anything.
You have to wave them down. They were a little busy so it wasn't a huge deal.

Very spacious place. Had a hockey game on (not the leafs game for some reason) everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Brilliant find in the heart of the city. The quality of the food is awesome, good portions and they didn't skip on the shrimp!

Wasted my money, came for my mom's birthday because we went to the Vaughan location before and it was better than this Mississauga location and she was let down with the lack of quality, Very disappointed, the waiter was only trying to upsell which was upsetting because I was making a choice but she was only suggesting the super big meals

the lobster sliders didn't have ANY real meat in it, not a single piece meat was so disappointing and had NO flavor or seasoning whatever imitation mixture was in the sandwich made me sick after.
The rice was stale , had such high hopes for their location but was so terrible

Love the food

Been going to this location since 2021 and always enjoyed the food however on my last visit on thu 14th Aug, the food tasted different and not in a good way. Not sure if the chef has changed but it was different. 3 of us had upset stomachs the same night. Management needs to look into this. Thanks.

We went to Captain Boil for the first time and it will be our last time we weren't happy with the food . The captain fried rice was awful no flavor very greasy and it was pasty we took it home and the next day my husband ate the rice he he got very sick from it it was almost slimy the next day and it smelled sour. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone'. 👎👎👎👎👎

I ordered through Uber Eats. $112.00 worth of tasteless food. The Noodles tasted like dirty soap water and I had to throw in the garbage. Corn was dry and musty. Don’t even get me started on the bland potatoes!! The Shrimp had a strange smell and uneasy on the eyes! DO NOT order from this location. Waste of your hard earned money!!!
