I like the view and the ice cream is good
Stopped in there on a ride Sat. the 26th of July. Was happy to see the line for food was shorter than the line for Ice Cream. The guy at the window seemed unimpressed to be working, took my order and it was filled relatively quick. When I looked at my 8 dollar poutine I was disappointed right away. The portion size compared to what we can get in Ottawa was small, cheese curds were large which was great and the gravy was the real disappointment. We are visiting family in the area and decided to stop in and try out docksyde for supper. Sadly the food is subpar at best, the burger and fries are both frozen and definitely not quality.. the service however was good and the food was hot.. I’ll give them that, the location is also great being along the St.Lawrence river.. however I would say I’ve had a better burger and fries at McDonald’s..
