I attended a baby shower here last weekend and the service was so special and the food was great. Very nice location and lots of parking close by.

Not only were the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, but the owner and manager said hello to everyone, including us who were just visiting. A true community pub that is a reflection of the way a public house should be. Foods was great and the Caesar dressing is home made. I’ll be back to Mt. Albert just for this experience again.

Great atmosphere in a nice little town. Service was great too. Sweet chili Thai wings needed more sauce and to be tossed in it. Not just drizzled. See you next time!

We absolutely love coming to this small restaurant in Mount Albert because the people who work there are amazing and the food is always so good.

We drive across from Keswick because we enjoy the food, the people and the trip over so much.

They have a great menu with plenty of selection and the guys in the kitchen make amazing food. Honestly, it’s one restaurant where I feel like I am eating something I would make for myself and I leave feeling like it was nutritious and actually made with great real food and with care as I would make it for myself.

My favourite is the French onion soup and the fried chicken sandwich. The buns are basically homemade and always fresh with fresh vegetables. The Caesar salad is second to none with homemade dressing that tastes like none other definitely not just Renée’s. The Dougie burger is great as well. My wife always gets the chicken Caesar wrap and it is delicious because again it tastes just homemade and the breading that they use on their fried chicken is unbelievable.

Their french fries are unbelievable, and always the star side.

I also enjoyed the fish and chips, but as I am not a huge fish guy, it is a once in a while type thing, but can recommend.

Everyone working here is so kind and friendly. A small town establishment the way it should be.

10 stars if possible. Great local restaurant, very inviting and friendly staff and management. Food is clearly done with care, the fish and chips and onion soup was top level. The burgers and salads both exceptional. Service was adept and attentive. We will absolutely be going back and have zero problems recommending you visit. Well done folks.

We’ve tried every restaurant now in town, and the Lloyd House was by far my favourite
The food was lovely, but the staff and I believe owner we chatted with was top tier.
I can’t wait to sit on the patio in the summer time!!

Had been to Niemi Christmas market and on our way back stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. The people working there welcomed us with warmth and kindness. It's a house turned into a pub. They had beautiful Christmas decorations and the whole place just gave good vibes. They also had a local hot sauce that was amazing and made the meal even better.. thank you for your service!
