The score a 2 out of five on service because I find that they are not making the ice products the way they are supposed to for instance I have recently found they do not correctly make their peanut buster parfaits correctly at all, instead fudge and peanuts and ice cream put together in the 3 layers each correctly they have been missing the middle layer of fudge and peanuts or not enough peanuts on any of it.
Husband and I stopped in for a quick bite...ordering a poutine and two banana splits to follow. After eating our poutine, I returned to the counter with my tray to get the two banana splits that I had paid for when ordering the poutine.They were placed in front of me and the bananas where clearly bad I ask the girl if she could replace the bananas in them and she said do you just want new banana splits and I said that would be fine and she threw the other splits in the garbage...
Service is always great at this location, employees are polite and caring. Great spot to stop during an Ottawa-Toronto drive. DQ's quality has been consistently great over the years while other chains have disappointed; this location is a great example!
