I don’t think my standards are too high but I got biriyani from here and it was below average, their biriyani had no flavour and the chicken pieces were small and what’s with the 2 pieces potato in the biriyani, I have never had biriyani with potato in my life before.

I would’ve given zero star to Alraheem Store, but the system does not allow me to do it. Today, I ordered one biryani, one beef platter, and one tandoori platter. After waiting for more than 40 minutes, they did not give me the tandoori platter when asked why? I was told that they run of food instead my order was replaced without my consent or asking me. Secondly, when I brought the food home and opened the food containers, the biryanis and the white rice had an extreme bad smell; the rice were rotten. The smell was as the food was 3 or 4 days old food. Also, the chicken in biryani, chicken tandoori, and the beef kabab were undercooked. I really don’t get what kind of food was that. I am extremely disappointed by their service and food. I feel like I was scammed. “NEVER” go to ALRAHEEM STORE or buy food from them cause they suck. I DON’T RECOMMEND THE FOOD FROM THEM.

Nice place to order lively food. Just have one suggestion by our kiddos:) why there is no FRIES option to replace rice in your full meal:)

Today I had a very bad experience at your food section (not the meat section).

I came with my sisters and ordered one large pizza. By mistake, my sister ordered another pizza, so we went back and told the staff that we wanted to cancel the extra pizza. The worker said okay.

However, when we went to pay, they brought two large pizzas. We explained that we only wanted one. At that point, the only female staff member there spoke to us very rudely and with a bad attitude, saying that we had to pay.

We clearly told her again that we only wanted one pizza. She then took the extra pizza, hit it on the table, and said, “Next time, discuss first and then order.” Her behavior was very disrespectful and unprofessional.

We are regular customers and usually come for the meat section, and we have never had problems before. However, this staff member has always seemed disrespectful, and this time her behavior was completely unacceptable. One of my friends also mentioned that she was rude to him as well.

This is not acceptable. Please be careful about who you hire. Staff should know how to behave and understand basic customer service. This kind of behavior drives customers away.

If this continues, we will not return to this store. If there is no respect, there is no reason for us to come back.

It’s a good grocery store but there is a staff girl who has a rude behaviour with customer. She says she is a manger of store .

Poor hygiene and horrible service. They put both the meat and chicken on the scale without cleaning all day. Absolutely disgusting!
Not only that but the people at the butcher are rude and racist. I called a week in advance to order specific veal, and I confirmed the day before, yet when I arrived, they sold MY piece that I reserved to someone of their own.
When you call on the phone they are disrespectful and have no manners and hang up on you before you are done speaking.
Never buy from this place, there so many better other places in Ottawa.

I buy halal meat from here. Happy about it. Jus a suggestion; currently, full leg or half lamb leg is sold. Not less than that. It would be nice to have an option to buy 1 or two pounds.

Great customer service with smile

Recommended dishes: Tandoori Chicken

It was our first time there and the host took his time to explain the recommend best selling dishes there. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. Would go there again!!
