We've been to another location before but the food at this location was night and day better. Great service, food was prepared very quickly. Had the Irish Spice Bag, which was the most unexpectedly delicious meal I've had in awhile.

3 times I went to the bar and waited 5 minutes and no one approached me. Two times the 2 bartenders stood at the dishwasher chatting and never looked back at the bar to see 3 or 4 customers waiting to be served.

WAY TOO MUCH SALT on the batter-fried fish tacos, making them inedible- the Chef and Server agreed. While the beef stew I ordered to replace the fish was tasty, the crustini that came with the stew was anlso inedible because it too was smothered in salt!! VERY disappointed and I’ve been coming here for years.

Ordered the BLT sandwich and fries, it was so salty as to be inedible. The sauce on the sandwich had a weird taste, way too salty, as were the seasoning on the fries. Service was good, but will not be coming back.
Correction: it was the Snug Club (chicken breast and bacon) sandwich.

It’s around the corner where I live. There were both pleasant and unpleasant visits! Overall great for a quick drink as there were not really much pub nearby. It is more relaxing than the Byward location.
