“This place is absolutely perfect! Both the interior and exterior are well-designed, giving it a clean and inviting vibe. There’s plenty of parking available, and it’s fully wheelchair accessible, which is great.

The food is delicious — everything was cooked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. What makes it even better is that they also have Gong Cha boba milk tea inside! For people like me who love pairing good food with boba, it’s the best of both worlds — you can enjoy both at the same time and in the same place.

“There are two Dakgogi in Ottawa (one on Elgin and one in Barrhaven). They are run by different management and have different menus. Only the existence of korean fried chicken (KFC) is the same. This location seems to have pivoted to become more of a chinese restaurant with a side menu of KFC. I went in for takeout to order dozen pieces of kfc chicken. Estimated time was told to me about 12 minutes, it turned out closer to 45 minutes. The chicken was eventually turned over to me but I did see a hastily done job. Thr sauces were not coating the chicken adequately and you could see exactly where the initial splashes of sauce had falled onto the chicken. It was still enjoyable but was of a lower quality than the KFC I had enjoyed from the downtown location just a week back“

“First time here, Panini and soup was unreal. Like everyone else it's a little hard to find. When you go in the lobby your auto instinct is to take the elevators to the right, but no go left and you will see the sign and the stairs right beside. Busy place to do you know it's good.“

“This place is so incredible! I’ve been here twice now and both times, our food was so delicious and fresh. The ttoekbokki is definitely my favourite of all the ones I’ve tried in Ottawa so far. Their beef bulgogi is my favourite and all the side dishes are also super yummy! To top it all off, their service is amazing.“

“We ordered soy garlic chicken, hot pepper chicken, and a few noodle dishes. The chicken was great and flavourful. I found it quite expensive, though, but you get a larger quantity. So, good if you're going with a few people to share. Wish they had a combo where you could choose different types of fried chicken and try a couple at a time. The space is on the smaller side, so be prepared to wait or take out.“

“We went to the Korean house for a date night dinner. Opted to get dishes instead of the BBQ option. Really loved everything. We ordered the Kimchi Stew, Japche, Bipimbop, and BBQ chicken with mandu. Everything was incredible. Will be back to try the BBQ. Only wish there was more ventilation as the restaurant got smokey when some individuals obviously liked their meat crispy/burnt. Also we were put beside the door which was a pain because we kept gettibg cold or our conversation interrupted by ppl entering but food and service made up for it. Be back soon!!!“

Only tiny note for the 4 star atmosphere: it gets a little cold when the door opens. Otherwise, everything was great. Highly recommend!“

“The atmosphere is a little bit of a turn off for me, their tables are made of a circular slab of wood on top of a oil barrel, theirs usually flies flying around. But on the other hand, their fried chicken may or may not be some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. As for the service, I have no complaints about it.“

The salmon, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic — fresh, buttery, and perfectly cut. I’d honestly go back just for that combo alone.

The gyoza was the only slight disappointment, as it tasted more like something cooked from frozen rather than made in-house. Still, that’s a small trade-off considering how great the salmon sushi was overall.

“The quality of food is still the same, and my friend and I enjoy very much. It is the service that I have problem with: extensive wait time due to tables are not cleaned and ready, poor management on the floor (yup, the cleaning of the table is part of this problem). The floor staff should prioritize what should be done first and what's next (although there are only two guys on the floor). Changing the large portion of the restaurant to be the all-you-can-eat bbq is a bad move, and the choice is so limited makes me regret the first and only time when me and my girlfriends had the bbq. I hope they can be flexible on yhat.“

“I love Raon Kitchen's kimchi. it's not as salty as the store bought ones and tastes amazing. it's a staple item in my fridge. I've recently tried the gochujang paste and it's also wonderful. Hana's service is outstanding. We're fortunate to have Raon in Ottawa.“
