As always, I'll start with the service. It was easy to make a reservation and it was worth doing since it filled up around 6pm. We were welcomed with smiles and found the restaurant to have great ambiance. It's a cozy setting.... about 16 tables for 4 people. The mocktail to start was delicious. We shared the dolmades and greek salad as a starter. Both were very good. Suggestions and more info about the mains was required but we found the advice was spot on. My wife had the gnocchi, I had the lamb chops/fries. Both mains were very, very good. The portions were enormous. Overall 5 stars for a great experience and overall value.

We had several appetizers and they were all delicious! Greek husband approved as well. The mains were good but a bit heavy, there is a lot of cream. Cheesecake was delicious as well. Aside from the food this was the first restaurant I've been to in a while where it was not noisy, the ambience was perfect to enjoy a dinner.

My adult daughter wanted Greek food tonight so we decided to try Pinelopis in Barrhaven once again. It has been many years.We started with the bruschetta and it was amazing. The warm bread, tomatoes and balsamic drizzle was great.I ordered the beef souvlaki and she ordered the chicken. It comes with roasted veggies, potatoes, rice and tzatziki. Chicken was well cooked and tender. The beef, medium rare, melted in my mouth.Everything was wonderful. I should have took a picture before we ate as the plate was full.We will definitely be back!

My siblings and our spouses, eight of us, went to Pinelopi's for supper to celebrate Birthdays.We had drinks, apps; my wife and I also ordered a bottle of wine to hqve with our meals. The food was very good, ourvqaiter was friendly and good at his job.However, we felt quite rushed as we were finishing- we ordered coffee and dessert and were told they needed our table for another group. The bill for my wife and I was a tad over $200 BEFORE tip- safe to say the total for our table was over $700; so to be hurried out didn't sit very well.

Went with my cousins for my 30th and it was a delightful experience.A table favourite was the deep fried goat cheese appetizer and the moussaka main dish.Only thing we found underwhelming was the deep fried zucchini- it lacked crisp and colour but the aioli was tasty.Would go again and highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinning experience for the first time at Pinelopi's Greek Kitchen. It was a family gathering to celebrate a birthday. There was so much to choose from on the menu I had a hard time zeroing in on what dish I wanted to try. I ended up choosing Penne Antonia which I called my meat lover's Penne due to all the morsels of meat on the dish. Another dish which was chosen was the Pulled Pork Fettuccine which I was very interested in because I am a great fan of Pulled Pork. The other two dishes chosen were Chicken Souvlaki. For dessert three Chef Daniel's Cheesecakes were consumed with great delight. Joey was our server and he took very good care of us. One guest described the washrooms as very fancy and modern. A really nice touch was a single cut red rose decorating the table.

My husband's pasta dish with chicken and pancetta was delicious. My seafood ravioli was ok. The filling was good but the ravioli were quite thick and the saffron sauce was very strong. The service was excellent and the atmosphere lovely.

We ordered a moussaka for 8 for pick-up. Initially the price had me reconsidering. But on reflecting on the ingredients and amount of time to make (I've made it - it's almost an all-day affair) it was more than fair. In fact the tray for 8 actually fed 11, so the cost per square was reasonable. Pinelopi's were great to deal with and the order was ready on time. How was the moussaka? Absolute HEAVEN!!!! Perfect flavours - loved every mouthful! Should have ordered two trays after all. Thanks to the chef from our home party!
