Our kids absolutely loved this place, wanting more of everything even if the portions were massive! Thank u!!
Beautiful and classy, elevated interior. Very kind and attentive baristas. I enjoyed a delicious tiramisu in the lively setting, retirees, students, remote workers alike! This place is definitely here to stay, thanks for the great treat Cafe Cristal!

Cafe Cristal is a popular restaurant in Ottawa, known for its delicious coffee and food. The spacious, classy, and clean interior creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly, attentive service adds to the overall experience. The menu offers a variety of options, including savory eggs florentine crepe, sweet chocolate crepe, and the best scones ever, which are available during high tea. Customers appreciate the unique decor and charming vibe, making it a great spot for hangouts or casual outings. The cafe can get quite busy, so parking may be limited. During a visit in November 2024, the owner or manager warmly welcomed first-time visitors with a complimentary cake, making the visit even more enjoyable. Many customers praise the delicious crepes, hot lattes, and amazing paninis, describing them as buttery and indulgent. The cafe is especially noted for catering to dietary needs, providing lactose-free options that impress guests. Cafe Cristal is highly recommended for those looking for good food, friendly service, and a cozy environment, worthy of a detour to savor the atmosphere.
