I got the Coco Mango and added tea jelly and it was delicious! I got 30% sugar and less ice and it was perfect. Lots of real fresh mango pieces in the drink. The coconut milk was rich and creamy. I loved the tea jelly.

Nothing could have prepared me for this spot. This is the BEST bubble tea you will have in Ottawa. Every-time we have a drink, we go back for more. Their tea is all brewed, not that powder bs and I’d highly suggest topping all your drinks with yummy cheese mouse. If you get the tea only drinks in the “cheese tea” section of the menu, it might taste too strong and fragrant so I always always always buy from the “MILK tea” section and top it with the cheese foam. The milk balances out the delicious fragrances of the tea and results in the most authentic milk tea flavours you may ever taste. Their black and white boba pearls are both delicious and I alternate between the two. I highly recommend black Ceylon milk tea, oolong milk tea, and the watermelon slush (all with cheese mouse).
Literally my only complaint is that it’s 1. On the pricier end of bubble tea (but I get real tea) , 2. There is nowhere to lounge with friends. This is a take out spot. And 3. The drinks are so small! I’m begging please please please for bigger drinks I’ll buy them all ?

Finally got to try Bliss Tea today and it was so good! I got the jasmine americano and it was delicious. I like that they have an order kiosk because honestly the amount of customizations you can make with bubble tea drinks, its nice to be able to put them all in on a screen instead of having to go back and forth with someone, especially when you're ordering multiple drinks. I do sort of wish they had some small tables in their shop like the bubble tea place that used to be there and imo they're a liiiiittle bit expensive, but for how good my drink was, I don't mind so much.

Aug 2024 update: CLOSED due to poor management (sip tea Ottawa on Instagram contains more details) Update two three years later... Honestly the BEST bubble tea store in Ottawa, cheese mousse is a MUST at Sip Tea. Very strong tea flavour without being to bitter, doesn't taste like water and creamer.
It's been a few months since Sip Tea closed, and I really miss having my evening bubble tea. I hope it reopens soon. ☹️

This store doesn't pay it's employees salaries, it's Merivale Branch has already been evicted by the landlord for not paying rent, they also uses tea bags that has been expired for 2+ years to make milk tea, go to any other milk tea store but this one

Really sad to see such a beautiful and welcoming boba place decline in quality so bad in the last year. This used to be my go-to boba place and now I get greeted by staff who have to apologize on behalf of the management for not training them to make and serve cheese foam and whatnot. Very disappointed.

We've been going to Sip Tea for years, and it has always been our favorite bubble tea shop in Ottawa. The staff were friendly, and they had a great selection of drinks; the quality was high. I also enjoyed their seasonal and festive drink creations.Unfortunately, it seems that the ownership has recently changed, and the staff have been mostly replaced. The staff are still nice and friendly, but there's been a noticeable decrease in the quality of the drinks.In the past few months, the drinks have been constantly out of stock or are missing ingredients. Even when the drink is complete, it's always inconsistent - either the boba is too hard or too soft, or the tea-to-milk ratio is off. We went just last week, and the classic milk tea tasted sour, as if it had gone bad. We suspect an expired ingredient.It's sad to see one of our favorite bubble tea places go downhill. There are many other bubble tea places in Ottawa to check out. Hopefully, Sip Tea can bounce back one day.
