Barley Mow is a great spot for wings and drinks on Thursdays, with a friendly staff and pleasant ambiance perfect for small groups. The Merivale location impressed a group of 7 with accommodating service at 7:45 p.m. The meals, like fish and chips, burgers, butter chicken, and chicken wraps, were all tasty and generous in portion size. The fish was flaky and the slaw excellent. The attentive server ensured quick drink service, even on a busy Saturday night with a live band. A packed house enjoyed the music and danced, making it a fun spot for a lively evening out.
