Wing Hing Chinese Food Take Out

Very disappointed with this takeout. The food was clearly not fresh -- everything tasted stale. The chow mein noodles were extremely dry with no flavor, and the chicken balls were hard, also dry, and lacked quality. I ended up throwing most of it out, upsetting after spending $50. Felt bad for my company, they too didn't enjoy it!

I will share, in the past, the food was never this bad -- with noticeable drop in flavor and overall quality. Definitely won't be ordering again. You've all been warned.

The meats are tender and juicy, but don’t order their chow mein. They use bean sprouts and fried egg noodle chips for their ingredients (see the pic). The order was also 30 minutes late. The sesame chicken was great though.

These guys took over 90 minutes to not deliver an order. Don't bother here, they're crooks and not worth your time.

Have ordered food last year and this year.
Prices average but portions are decent. Last year we ate there multiple times, the place is open later than other options and it was very tasty. This year we were a bit disappointed as the chicken balls were hard and the garlic sauce was watery. Our vegetable chop suey had almost no vegetables.
We will try it next time and hope it is worth multiple stops again.
Ask for the open-ended egg rolls, much better than closed 😉
Takeaway (takeout) only but they can provide cutlery and chopsticks. Don't know about plates,we did not get any.

Placed on order for chicken balls Cantonese noodles and shrimp vegetables.
Everything was over cooked to the point where the noodles were crunchy and the veggies were burnt plus the chicken balls were fried in weeks old oil ,I called to let them know and I was told someone will call me back its only been 4 days for the call back ,I wonder if someone else have a bad experience with this place .

This place is great! Maybe not Michelin star cuisine but for when you are craving some asian food delivery or pick up it is the best around!!!! Great food great portions and a great price! Love it!!

We ordered on busy New Years Day. Order was ready on time and everything was cooked perfectly. We very much enjoyed our meal. Top quality on a busy day!!

I've been searching Ottawa for the best Yang Chow Fried Rice (fried rice with shrimp, chicken and bbq pork) and I may have found it at Wing Hing! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared to perfection. The staff is really friendly too! I'll definitely be back.

I placed an order for deliver at 6:12, and was told it would would arrive at 7:32 at the latest. When my food hadn't arrived by then I called the restaurant and was told my food would be another 20-30 minutes.This was an unacceptable level of service. I can understand being busy, but a 2 hour wait for delivery is ridiculous.

WANT TO THROW AWAY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY? ORDER HERE!!! We have been patrons for over 20 years. They had been a reliably good Chinese take-out restaurant until the Covid-19 pandemic when everything started to change. Slowly but surely the quality has dwindled. Now it’s just a place to throw away your money. The worst thing is that they just don’t care. Tonight was the worst visit yet. We ordered honey garlic spare ribs (which used to be amazing), chicken fried rice & egg rolls. My husband has no teeth so I asked them to cook their ribs very tender so it would be easy for him to chew, but they were so hard and chewy that he couldn’t have any. They were even unpleasant for me and I have a full set of strong teeth. The egg rolls were so saturated with grease that it was dripping off the ends. Gross! Even the chicken in the rice was dry & tough. So, I called them & told them how utterly disappointed we were especially after having requested the ribs be extra tender. The owner said he was so sorry. I told him we had been clients for 20+ years & he said he knew that, but offered no solution of any kind. Sorry? Not really, not even enough to offer anything! After that response, we will never order here again. After 20 years we don’t even matter enough to do anything about it. The pandemic changed ALOT of things, unfortunately it changed Wing Hing for the absolute worst. The kind of place that just takes your money & doesn’t care that you get garbage for it! Sooooo disappointing!
