Great menu options, big portions! My steak and mushroom pie was delicious!! Hubby's burger was totally devoured, very tasty! He had a draft beer (lots of different options for beer and cider) and I had a Liquid Apple Pie that was just amazing!!
Great 'pub feeling'...the only reason I rated a four is because our table was right beside a very drafty door, so it was a little cold

Very solid place. Had the wings, sauce was meh but the wings themselves were great with lots of meat on the bone. Sweet potato fries were great too.

Restaurantji Recommends
We had the delicious fish and chips today. Absolutely one of the best restaurant fish I've tasted. Nice and flaky, not too much batter and crispy & hot to the table.
Also had the Burns Supper which was a big letdown. The meal was lukewarm, perhaps waiting for the fish(?) I am not convinced it was haggis I ate and would swear there is sage or some odd herb/spice that doesn't belong in haggis. The potatoes were ok-tasting. I was famished. It was 3pm and my first meal of the day. I ate the haggis and tatties. The neeps seemed more like pumpkin or sweet potato puree. Just awful. Very sweet and reminded me of Gerber baby food. Remember this meal was not hot. I do not recommend this dish.
Generous portions on both dishes.
We've been in lots of times over the years and usually enjoy the food including good haggis at Burns' nights. We'll have the fish again for sure.

We performed there for our first time last night. Immediately upon walking in we felt comfortable. The staff were so inviting and friendly! We got a little nibble and some drinks, all were delicious. Can't wait to go back :)
