“Stopped in for a quick pit stop and to fuel up on coffee before continuing our journey to my big Brother's wedding in Northern Ontario. The service was apathetic and extremely slow. The food was up to par with Tim Horton's elsewhere and the atmosphere was very hectic because of the line that seemingly didn't move forward. Chose to to inside because of the dangerous and illegal line up of cars onto and down the highway for drive through. Not impressed.Parking: Was packed and the lot wasn't sufficient for the amount of people there with trailers, boats and RV's only compounding the issue.Kid-friendliness: Usually kid friendly placeWheelchair accessibility: Was wheelchair accessible”

“Counted 10 people working here one on the cash next in line for 10 minutes for a god dam coffee done with Tim Hortons Hello Mc Donald’s! Is it just me but the service sucks at New Liskeard locations!”

“Went there while we were on a hockey tournament. What an amazing place. Everyone that worked there was very knowledgeable. They were kind enough to let us in, even though we were supposed to have tickets, because they had live music for St Patrick’s day. Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends.”

“We dined at Zante's twice in one week this past summer. Every dish we (2 adults and 2 teenagers under 16) ordered was delicious, but if we had to pick a favourite, I would say it'd be the bao buns. Our 12-year-old thought the bao buns were one of the best things he's ever eaten.The service was great, and we loved that we could eat on the patio while watching the sun set. I highly recommend this place.”

“This is a great place! If you follow them on Facebook you can find out when they have live music, which seems to be often. We had a lovely time eating good food, drinking wine and listening to the blues.”

“Excellent food. Had vegetable spring rolls followed by Szechuan vegetables with cashews, General Tao chicken and steamed rice. Everything was a treat. It was a very quiet early Monday evening meal and the service was good.”

“Service was very friendly. I was annoyed it was cash only, especially when the explanation was that it was faster, doesnt make sense to be but i was also really hungry lol. My annoyed mood was gone pretty fast when i tasted the food. I had a bacon cheeseburger and a poutine. The food was amazing, everything was fresh and tasty and the poutine had cheesecurds all the way to the bottom. I would highly recommend R.U. Hungries, just be aware they take cash only, no debit or credit cards.”

“We ordered a large Margharita Pizza with the cheese-stuffed crust and it exceeded my expectations. It was pretty good. - There was a glitch with the pickup time when I ordered it online but the staff at the store were nice enough to correct it when I called and did not charge me for it. Based on the number of people there when I picked up the pizza this location is very popular.”

“GILLI'S a restaurant that i can order Dinner during brunch or breakfash at dinner! Gillis spaghetti gratin is the Bain of my existence! The portions are massive! Every time I go to Gillis, I order one spaghetti gratin and another one to go! I also order a side of mashed potatoes & a side of cooked sweet carrots, and I have them drown both in their savory gravy!Everything on the menu is so good! Ever since I moved to Canada, It's hands down my favorite restaurant in New Liskeard, and the prices are great! (Seriously, though, DO NOT leave GILLIS without trying the hearty spaghetti sauce!)”

“There New Portobello Mushroom Burger Was Soo Good And One Of The Staff Suggested Getting Fries And Adding A Side Of The Portobello Mushroom Sauce Man That Was Amazing....That Girl Needs A Raise!”

“Ordered 2 meatball subs online, still had to wait 10 mins by the time I got there. Opened package in parking lot to eat it only to find a HUGE mess inside. Cheese not melted, it was barely inside the bun, sauce everywhere all over the wrapper and the meatballs were ice cold! Brought them back to a young man who just said "sorry" and wouldn't refund or replace since the manager wasn't there. Hubby called their 1800# and started to tell them what happened and they hung up! Called the local place once home (and still hungry), the manager tried making excuses why it was cold and how its safe to serve cold still. Reality is, reheated meat must be heated to a safe temp before serving to ensure no one gets sick from food bourne illness. I apparently now have a credit there I never plan to use.”

“Loved the atmosphere and the best welcoming smile by all three servers working there. Great service by all of them, especially Mayuri. It was a not so good day but at the end of the day my boyfriend and I stopped by at Harvey’s for dinner and it was just perfect. I went home smiling and happiest person after having burger at Harveys. The service honestly made a big difference, and I have never sat in any fast food cafe for more than 15 mins but here I was there for over an hour. Genuinely loved the food and atmosphere. ?”

“This McDonalds has been a frequent stop for our family while traveling to use the washroom and pick up a snack. I like to order through the app, go to the washroom, and then go to the counter to wait for the take out pick up. We had an under 5 minute wait today. There can be a longer wait as sometimes this restaurant is very busy due to being an excellent location for a variety of different travel routes. Food was hot and fresh.Kid-friendliness: There's a kids area with some activites, and a kids menu with a toy.”

“Liked that we were able to order what we wanted ourselves using their tablet. It is all you could eat.The only problem is if you don't have a large appetite, you are paying too much. I also feel that there could be a bit more choice.”
