We attended a cooking class inspired by “The Bear” and the food, service and atmosphere were outstanding! Chef Heather Goodman led the kitchen and it was a wonderfully informative and intimate evening with 10 other guests. I’ve done many cooking classes in various locations downtown but this surpassed them all, by far. Her energy was engaging and kept the pace of the evening moving perfectly. She was receptive to questions, provided tips and tricks and the food was incredible. Her cooking classes are not to be missed. Make sure you book early as the classes will sell out fast. What a fabulous addition to the Main Street Newmarket landscape!

I gave it a one star because they close at 6 pm in SUMMER TIME. Really ? it is no wonder so many Canadians companies fail, closing at 6 pm is ridiculous . How can a working person get home and make it to your establishment by 6 pm. You probably pay minimum wage and you can’t afford to stay open till at least 8 pm. ?

When you go to some places if the service is bad you cannot even enjoy the food, but here the service on the pastry shop is totally amazing !! She was so attentive and patient and the pastry’s were so delicious!! Definitely this is my new place to go !

Excellent Bakery in Downtown Newmarket! I recently tried the carrot cake from Goodman Fine Foods Bakery, and it was absolutely delicious! Moist, perfectly spiced, and topped with just the right amount of creamy frosting. A definite must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Looking forward to trying more of their baked goods!

What a great little hidden gem in downtown Newmarket! Heather was a delight to meet, and the food was out of this world! We purchased the cheddar onion brioche buns, a caramelized onion focaccia, and a couple of donuts. Her product is incredible, fresh, flavorful. We can't wait to go back and try something different, and perhaps grab a coffee while we are at it.

I love everything that Heather makes ( my personal favs are the lemon filled doughnuts and carrot cake) and many things that she sells.. her cheese selections are terrific. Additionally, her events are a terrific night out. Have bought many home goods there, as well.
Very cozy spot. The baked goods are fresh! The staff is so friendly, they look you in the eye, they greet you and take the time to ask how you are. Highly recommend!
