I LOVE this place. I am a vibes and atmosphere person through and through, and Metropolis Mercantile + Café had me from the moment I stepped inside. It’s dark and moody with ambient lighting and that intoxicating aroma of freshly ground beans. Was a very busy weekend morning, so seats were a bit of a challenge. Metropolis is my favourite Cafe to go to in Newmarket. On weekends theres lots of people there but I've always been able to get a spot. Great service and high-quality food & coffee! I love their iced latte and tomato, pesto mozzarella sandwich with olives. I will say it's pretty pricey and if you're getting food and drink get ready to spend around $20. Their hot chocolate is a nice cheaper option.

I come here all the time and love the atmosphere. I come here and grab coffee and a bagel and work in their dedicated workstation tables. It’s a great place. They have tons of seating and a store and clothing and jewellery and it’s exactly what is needed around here. Food is amazing. People are amazing.
