The food was so terrible that I decided not to limit my review to Uber Eats and felt compelled to leave one here as well.

I tried three different items, and the only edible one was the samosa. I ended up throwing the other two in the garbage.

The taste and aroma were awful. I've tried Indian food from many different restaurants before, but this was by far the worst experience I've had.

We’ve been solid customers of India Gate since they opened. We are both from the Uk (Glasgow) and curry is their National dish so we know our curries and have tried countless places in york region, collingwood and Toronto but we always prefer IG. The food is so flavourful and not loaded with tons of salt like some places. It’s made fresh, the portions are big and it really reminds us of home. We asked the chef to make everything spicy (not Canadian spicy) and OMG they never disappoint

I ordered butter chicken through Uber today, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The chicken was not cooked properly, which is a serious concern, and the dish lacked the rich buttery flavour and I feel more the tomato flavour you would expect from butter chicken. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this experience was honestly horrible.

The food here is amazing. My family and I come here all the time for both dine-in and takeout, and the quality is always excellent. The family who owns the restaurant is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for great Indian food.

It was charged for failing to supply handwashing stations. India Gate had several violations during the inspection. Other issues included failing to cool potentially hazardous foods properly, failing to provide adequate lighting for food preparation and cleaning, and failing to use equipment/utensils free from open seams.
