Irie I Bistro Jamaican Food is a popular restaurant known for its delicious and generous portions of authentic Jamaican cuisine. Favorites include jerk chicken, jerk pork, oxtail, curry goat, and chicken soup. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making customers feel like they are in Jamaica. The customer service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Many visitors appreciate the tender meat and well-seasoned rice, describing the food as home cooking in the best way. This spot is more of a takeout place than a dine-in restaurant, with an extensive menu that includes items not always found at Caribbean restaurants, such as cow foot and pepper shrimp. The jerk chicken is particularly praised for being perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. Although there have been some concerns about side orders, like fried plantain, customers still highly recommend this place. For those looking for halal options, it is worth calling ahead to check, especially for the halal jerk chicken.

Oxtail was heaven sent. Used to go to Toronto to get some. Now I’m over the moon for this place.

Phenomenal experience at this spot. The food is exceptional. Met the owner/chef and he is awesome. My new goto spot for authentic home cooking.

I am here on my third visit, I have had oxtail, curry goat and chicken soup. Everything was delicious, meat is very tender, rice is seasoned very well. Everything feels like home cooking in the best way. This is definitely more of a take put spot then dine in. Lots of great drink options and menu is extensive with items you don't always find at Carribean restaurants such as cow foot, & pepper shrimp🦐.
