This is one of those hidden gems that aren’t hidden. Locals know this place dearly from what i’ve been told. Went there with my family and we ate some pretty good halibut and chips.

the couple that own this place are so friendly, i love coming in and seeing their smiling faces. i've come here my entire life, and it NEVER fails to dissappoint. always hot and freshly cooked food, pretty reasonable prices, and a nostalgic atmosphere. highly reccomend this local spot. love the battered mushrooms

Love that it’s still family owned and service is always generous - price is also very reasonable for the portion.

It was fine, the food was nothing special. The service was nice, they brought my lunch out to my table (I didn’t expect that), but the place has a weird smell like burnt cooking oil. Like I said, it’s fine.

I wonder if we just got this place on a bad day. The cole slaw was big chunks of cabbage instead of shredded. The haddock had a decent breading but the fish itself was mussy. Chips were ok, nothing great and not really hot when the meal arrived. Chips and 2 fish $33. wouldn’t come back or recommend .

The food is about nothing! Calamari price $7.99 for a very little portion! Fries overcooked and you can taste the old oil they’re using it! The service is nothing special! Fish is not seasoned very well !Overall it’s very pricey which is not worth it for the quality and portions they provide !
