Have been here a few times in the past. This time not so good. The mussels were not a very generous portion. No bread to go with it. The bread we did get when we ordered was stale. Really!. My veal marsala was served with just that & a side of pasta in a separate bowl. No veg or even a sprig of parsley for presentation . It was Like the chef could not be bothered to make a nice plate. For the price not impressed. What a shame. Think we will skip going back& not recommend..

We went over for my moms 70th birthday - the service was friendly and very relaxed our party of 10 was well looked after and never rushed the drinks were perfectly made / the food was authentic and absolutely delicious the best fired calamari I ever had. The over atmosphere was excellent. Great value

Took my wife here for a birthday lunch. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome and seated immediately. I had the penne with meatballs and mushrooms for my main course and started with a special asparagus topped bruschetta and the calamari. All the food was tasty and filling. The portions were a good size and very satisfying. Our server was friendly and attentive.
I only marked the atmosphere 4 stars because I did find my seat facing the window, which had a bit of a glare. However, this, of course, would not be an issue in the evenings. Overall, it was a very nice lunch and is a location we will visit again.

I truly enjoyed the restaurant the food was good the people were very friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful , I had Ceaser salad the best I had in a long time and lamb was really good my husband had fish and was very happy with his meal… I totally will support this restaurant and visit with friends
Was there on May 22nd for lunch. Had a mista salad. There were no olives in the salad as described in their menu. I damaged my tooth on an olive pit. There were two olive pits in a salad with no olives!! I will be seeking restitution

Had a nice dinner here but the waiter, seemed to get confused about time. He rushed at some points, started shoveling our food into boxes to get us out (it wasn’t busy) and then ignore us when we asked for our bill. I got meatballs because I wanted a protein with my gnocchi, this was a mistake. Chicken would have been much better but the waiter didn’t seem to know the items even when he brought them to the table.

When in for work lunch, I am celiac gluten free Wasn't a huge offering of gluten free but lots of naturally gluten free meals available.
Owner was old school Italian and a pleasure to talk to.
Service was great.
Grilled calamari I highly recommend absolutely fantastic, and even after it came out on pasta, without question the waitress immediately realized and took it back not issues or me complaining at all, and out came a fresh brand new meal made with veg and potatoes.
Again amazing service I hate having tos end food back with the whole gf crap I feel so bad asking or returning food, and they gave me zero hassle which was amazing.
Do not pass this place by, diamond in the rough (exterior) and a beautiful dining room interior.
