I have eaten at the Keg for years and have never had a bad meal until recently. My Twice baked potato was brought burnt so badly on top I could smell the blackened potato before it was set down. Immediately asked for a new one which was presented. they never should have brought it out. The 14oz Prime Rib was a huge thick cut more like a baseball steak in thickness and a huge band of fat on one side that fell off when touched and revealed unrendered fat beneath. Was not a good cut and was medium not medium rare. Complete disappointment on an expensive meal.

The Keg at Newmarket is brilliant. Best steak I have had in years and I had to go halfway around the world to get it. Lisa, our server was awesome. The atmosphere is really good, it would be a good place for a romantic night out. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered a medium-well steak, and to me, it was well done. When I asked our waitress why it seemed more like well done, she insisted it was how it was supposed to be. However, I’ve had better steaks at other Kegs.

My husband and I visited The Keg in Newmarket for our Anniversary. It was everything we have come to expect from The Keg. We were treated so well from the hostess greeting to our server Lisa. She deserves a big shout out as she was friendly and attentive and paced our meal perfectly never felt rushed or ignored! The food was top notch. Even had some of the featured lobster and it was also cooked to perfection along with our steaks. Really had a wonderful time!

We had an outstanding experience at The Keg! The food was excellent, but what truly made our evening memorable was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Ryan, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Graham, the manager, also went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their professionalism and commitment to great customer service really stood out. Thank you both for making our night so enjoyable—we'll definitely be back! Highly recommend this location.

Good meal! The brussel sprouts caeser salad was quite good. The French onion soup was also good. Mushroom truffle chicken was good but not exceptional. The chicken was a little dry. We needed some extra sauce for dipping it.

First time to the keg since moving here from the UK, it was for our tenth wedding anniversary and have to say it was fantastic, from the welcome at the door to Ryan's superb but not intrusive service, the food was perfect and the little touches like the 'happy anniversary' card, all was lovely and helped us to really end our day in a wonderful way!! Thank you Ryan and thank you to the Keg!! Highly recommend!!

Another lovely visit. We don't go often but when we do we enjoy ourselves very much. I would like to see a calorie wise menu though as most meals are well over 1000 calories and I am not interested in that very often.
