My son had never been here so decided to check it out. Ordered the Thai Caulflower to start and it was fantastic. Crunchy and saucy. My son had a burger and poutine. He really enjoyed it. I had a veggie burger with sweet potato fries, I was also happy with my meal. Had a sundae for dessert. Staff were friendly and happy. She was attentive and helpful. We will return.

What a delight and surprise it was to enjoy an amazing meal on the patio with the cozy and quaint ambiance to match! That PB Angus burger & fries was unmatched in presentation, flavours and satisfaction, along with those crispy fries it was the perfect Sunday lunch and left little or no room for desserts! Lol… might just have to make the drive from Oakville again for that burger & fries with dessert a must!

Never had the chance to go to this restaurant so we took the family and went for it For a Saturday seemed very quiet but who knows why Service staff were very accommodating and nice so no issues there Server was very nice polite and helpful through the evening Unfortunately it appears as though there was a broken glass at our booth at some point in time which my son cut himself on We we’re relocated as the food was arriving I’ll mention table times were fast so they have that going for them but. Once the glass issue arises I really started looking around and the cleanliness of the establishment really showed unfortunately The owner did come by and crack a few jokes etc Food was ok chicken fingers were the best tasting at this point Nothing done with the bill and no apology at any point just seemed surprised at the glass and the cut Overall without the glass issue this place has far too many food options and that being said what we ordered was basically average and could be made at home Cool place but not up-kept Maybe good for a meeting or a quiet meal

The ambiance was really nice at this Pickle Barrel. Everything was really clean, even the washrooms. Service was excellent and very friendly. The food was very tasty! The virgin Pina Coloada was so-so. The P.B. Bacon Cheeseburger was so delicious, and the sweet potato fries were yummy! The bowl (temple something) was super flavourful, crunchy, and just amazing. The Big Smoke sandwich was packed with lots of meat...which always a plus and the toast was nice a lightly toasted. The B.B.B.L.T had lots of bacon and chicken. The bread was nice as well. The desserts were extremely yummy! The strawberry cheesecake was perfect. The warm sticky toffee pudding was OMG...YUMMY!! The chocolate fudge cake was really sweet and rich. All desserts are perfect for sharing.

It had been years since I have been in a Pickle Barrel and boy, have they ever changed. The decor is now more Keg-like and upscale than I remember it being in the past. The menu includes the usual deli sandwiches, burgers, etc. They are licensed to serve alcohol and their wine selection is pretty standard. The various members of our group had different entrees, so we got to see a pretty good cross-section of the menu. My Reuben sandwich was very light on the sauerkraut, was missing the Russian dressing and was very small (obviously they used slices of bread from near the heel of the loaf). They do offer the option to increase the amount of meat on their deli sandwiches (pastrai, Reuben, etc.) and after my Reuben arrived, I regretted not taking advantage of that option. The couple who ordered the chicken wings said that they were tasty enough, albeit a bit on the small side. The person who ordered a burger said it was tasty. although a hair on the small size. I think that at least 3 of us ordered the sweet potato fries, even though there was a HUGE upcharge for them. However, neither the portion size, nor the taste was worth the price. If I recall correctly, there was a dessert on the menu that about half of the people in our party wanted to try. Unfortunately, the waitress said that they had none left (even though it was still early in the evening and the restaurant wasn't very busy). One person in our group ordered a chocolate milkshake and they seemed to be happy with it.

We celebrated my birthday at Pickle Barrel. Since it's Tuesday not a lot of people are there at the resto. The staff sang a bday song after we had dinner they were so sweet to do that. Food is big serving and kids' meal is like an adult size serving. It also comes with dessert and an option for a side dish. Our server for that night is Christian who is good at customer service and makes sure to suggest meals that we would love. He is really superb! Will go back for sure.

Went here for lunch; the food was awesome but what was more awesome was our server brad. He was working tirelessly getting me multiple drinks at the bar (the bar looked very clean) as well as sprinting to bring me my hot food. It was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever encountered. Thank you Brad.

Absolutely delightful experience. Bathrooms nice and clean, food was excellent, viewed as 1 portion pretty expensive, but as the 2 meat loafs I got it comes out to a reasonable $15/meal with tax & tip, absolutely the best pickle barrel experience I've had in 5 years highly recommend this place and the waiter was very nice as well.

The predetermined menu worked well, with large servings of tasty options that the guests enjoyed. Brad even entertained our guests (especially the kids) a little in between tasks with some card tricks! The price was reasonable and the setting was definitely conducive to a good time with family. Would give 4.5 star but cant do halfs, and can't do 5 just because some things could have been a tad smoother. For example, some drinks took a bit of time and the salmon came just a bit later then the other dishes, but even that was forgotten once the taste was savoured... it was good. Overall, service = very good. Food = very good. Ambience = great. Price = reasonable.Thanks Brad, Sophia and others who assisted in serving. You did a good job and I appreciate it. Great service from Brad and Amelia during a birthday party held there today. They were efficient, swift and so friendly!. Brad even provided entertainment in the form of magic tricks. Thanks to Brad, Amelia and the Pickle Bareel for the great food and service! I would definitely recommend this place for large groups and parties.

I recently went to this pickle barrel and I was really impressed by the service. The food was great but the service was exceptional. Our waiter David was so kind, he always came back to refill our drinks even though it was a busy night. I don’t normally leave reviews but he made an impression on me and my group of friends that we specifically would leave a review for him.

While the staff is friendly and the ambience is nice, the service speed was slow given the order. My party’s food (wonton nachos and ginger chicken bites) were average at best, along with a healthy dose of grease and salt. Perhaps the other dishes are tastier. Overall, an adequately acceptable experience, with the friendly staff being a highlight.

Came in for a quick lunch with the boys. We all left fairly satisfied with our meals.Of course I got chicken fingers, it’s my go-to meal when I don’t want to venture outside my comfort zone. The Buffalo sauce is an additional dollar which I don’t mind paying but when your fingers come out barely sauced up then it’s disappointing.The chicken sandwich also didn’t have much Buffalo sauce on it.The server Josh was friendly and attentive to the table. He made sure we weren’t late returning to work
