The wait staff and all those who worked at the Hard Rock Cafe were quite lovely, and the place itself was quite nice. However, the food was very bad. The original burger was dry, and the bun was burnt. The Canadian maple poutine burger was not at all what was advertised to be; It was greasy and fell apart and could not be held without struggle. Additionally, it was not listed anywhere on the menu that the poutine comes on the side and not in fact inside the burger. When a menu item doesn't list what it comes with, one can only assume what the name suggests. Now, if the price matched the quality of the food we had received, I would feel different about the place, but seeing that all the burgers are $30+, it made the experience quite disappointing and it felt like a waste of money when the quality of food didn’t meet the price points: despite it being Niagara Falls where the price point is high everywhere, a place should deliver quality above all else. It was just a shame for our experience to have gone the way it did as we were quite excited to try The Hard Rock Cafe as its the only one we know of in Canada.Note: The review was edited to further elaborate our experience.

Interesting that this is referred to as an American restaurant when it was founded in England. Not really the point though. This is a ridiculously overpriced location. $35 hamburgers? $35 fish and chips? If you like cocktails be prepared to pay through the nose at $20 for each for a martini and old fashioned. I could go on. This location is at the foot of a nice hotel facing the Falls, perhaps accounting for the out of this world pricing. Restaurants further up Clifton Hill are more reasonable. Food is good, but not gourmet to justify the cost. Will not be back.

The food was good but I’m leaving this review specifically to rave about Kelly, who was our waitress. She is fantastic and went above and beyond to make our experience at Hard Rock the best it could be! She’s great!

We had a late lunch here after the solar eclipse. We were among the first to arrive and the hostess gave us possibly the worst table in the restaurant. We politely asked to change and she said thr restaurant was full and she is not taking any change requests. I pointed out that the restaurant is empty and she's still refused. Then I spoke to a guy who looked like a manager and without hesitation immediately gave us a better table. It seems the regular staff are not well trained or empowered to make decisions. Nevertheless the food was amazing indeed. Shame that a great institution like Hard Rock café cannot enhance its customer service.

Way overpriced. $20 for a mixed drink. To add insult to injury our waitress brought the wrong sliders. Of course we paid and didn't complain, it's hard being a millennial

Hard pass. Don’t go in the evening (or at all) I feel like maybe staff is just too busy and checked out. The service was terrible. It was not busy at all with several empty tables and chairs around us. We had to wait so long for water and for a high chair. We asked several times and my husband ended up just getting up to go find a high chair himself. The food took forever to come out. The burger was actually super good just bland. I put the sauce from my son’s chicken nuggets on it and it was SO GOOD. It’s like a mayo, aioli type sauce. Otherwise the burger was so bland, ketchup will not save it. For the price of everything I’d save my money and go to any of the other restaurants in the Niagara area.
Food was good. Kids liked it. Spun the wheel outside for a discount. Memorabilia from music world is always fun you to see star they show off.

My Original Burger was extremely dry and blend. Some other orders for my table include grilled and deep fried chicken burgers; they were both dry too. The value and quality of the food for the price paid is low. As I visit restaurants at least twice a week because of business luncheons, I always set a stopwatch the moment I step into the restaurant. So for the dinner service, our server approached us to ask for our drinks order just shy of 10 mins after our arrival, this in my opinion is unacceptable. Our food arrived within 20 mins; hence this was good. As for atmosphere, a fly lingered around our table the entire dinner time. We were seated next to the kitchen, the floor less than 5ft away from our table was wet. During our stay, our waiter came over once to check on us, and that was almost at the end of our meal.

The Messi burger is the best! Portions are very generous. Fries didn't seem to be very fresh, but if you ask them they will fix it, service is really attentive. Prices are good, especially considering prices overall in Niagara. And the location is very convenient too is you are taking a walk around the main attractions.
