My wife and I love silog dishes and were happy to find out that J&B had them. We originally came by on Tuesday afternoon but their kitchen was already closed. So we came back on Thursday around lunchtime. We both ordered the longsilog and found it delicious. We also ordered the lumpia. The food is made to order, so it comes out fresh but it does take a little longer.

There are four tables with 4 chairs each. The grocery section has a selection of Filipino...

It was a happy surprise to find a Filipino store with made-to-order food. The turon (banana egg roll) and the lumpiang gulay (vegetable spring roll) were devoured in no time. They we good!

Popped in for a lunch, and had some great flavour in their shrimp or satay sauced pork (Binagoongan), a lovely dessert that was flavourful while not being way too sweet, and some of the best simple rice I've ever had at a restaurant. Plus, a great couple that makes their food with heart, makes this a really wonderful place to recommend, even though I kind of want to keep it all to myself, so it doesn't get too popular 😋
