Incredible service and food. View was amazing. Proposed to my fiance here and the staff went above and beyond setting up an incredible suprise and video taping it for us. Such a quiet and romantic spot. Highly recommend.

Very overpriced for the quality of the food. Be warned that their 'complimentary valet' is actually an offsite parking lot that you have to take a shuttle bus back to the restaurant from. This made us a full 30 minutes late for our reservation. The server vanished for about half an hour and the food was pretty slow, and when it did arrive it was mediocre at best. I assume that you're paying for the view, which was unfortunately blocked by a storm the night we were there, which is why they have two stars instead of one because I can't blame them for the weather. Don't recommend, even with the Groupon it wasn't worth it.

Parking: They advertise a 'complimentary valet' but actually make you drive five blocks away and park in a snowy compound and wait for a shuttle bus to take you back to the restaurant. Extremely annoying, especially since we weren't warned about it in advance.

We visited Niagara Falls last weekend to celebrate my spouse's birthday and decided to dine at the Sky Fallsview. Our server was Karen and her dinner service was simply excellent. The meal arrived on time and was cooked to perfection, not to mention the amazing views of the Falls. We would like to thank Karen for her great effort for a wonderful evening experience !!! We will definitely be back soon !! Chris and Annie

Vegetarian options: Great substitutions are available.

Perfectly cooked steak, the potatoes are to die for and the calamari, just wow! I was too full by the end of the meal to get dessert but the cheesecake was good enough to just look at!! Loved my server Karen, check on us just the right amount of times and I loved her smile!!

Had the Veal chop with the Oscar topper and a lobster bisque.. TASTY,,, great view,,,, friendly staff,, I was dining alone and the server was kind enough to take my photo with my phone just as random unscheduled fireworks were going off... it was awesome .. I was staying in the Falls View Tower hotel and the restaurant was one floor below my room. Great experience !

THOSE WITH ALLERGIES BEWARE - The kitchen was INFORMED of a GARLIC ALLERGY and I was reassured there was no garlic to be in the food after going back and forth on a meal that would be safe for me yet my steak which should have been done in just salt and pepper and maybe butter with that in mind or substituted, had FRESH GARLIC in it which started giving me ANAPHYLAXIS where I had to leave PREMATURELY to get MEDICATION and wasn't able to finish my fries I was having, as well as confused and panicked after being reassured there was none in my food. I only realized because I started having my throat get scratchy, hoarse, & closing partially when I got about halfway through my steak and couldn't have more as what was setting in with concern for GARLIC CONTAMINATION. My server did try, this is primarily expos or kitchen staff NEGLIGENCE as they should be aware of what they're coating on their food. Not how I wanted to be spending my Christmas dinner with my throat closing as my face gets itchy because someone was negligent.

The people are friendly and nice, but the proper precautions aren't being taken, which could end up getting someone killed or with a worse reaction if I had finished the whole steak.

Also to the server who served us, it is part of your job with food safety to ask about allergens from the start with your table so when you said about me saying sooner when I informed you a couple of minutes after you left our table with my order searching for you when I haven't been out to eat for awhile and won't be again after this incident of negligence. Don't say about me saying about it at the start when I told you as soon as possible when your job is to ask... that alone puts others at risk. Once the kitchen is aware whatever is contaminated is to be redone regardless now that it's made aware. You made me regret tipping you because of your lack of accountability on that despite my understanding from the start. I always pay and I always tip out of habit, I only thought I have to go and get medication ASAP, and I didn't have time to want to argue about a bill I shouldn't have even paid... FYI, if you haven't been trained to ask at the start, you're supposed to in order to avoid such as a restaurant. Your servers need training on their introductions if it's more than one doing such which is something I don't doubt. Lack of food allergy safety training from both kitchen and servers. It only takes one person being untrained for someone to be potentially seriously harmed. Being ignorantly unaware doing such you might as well be doing it knowingly because people being harmed is still the result. Get better training in place for everyone at the Sky Fallsview Steakhouse in regards to allergen training.... It's high risk to not have it for all parties involved.

How would you have reacted if I finished my steak, passed out from my throat being closed, 911 called and I passed away? On Christmas of all days and it would have been in front of my partner!!! Not a good look and not a good feeling for me given that's what almost happened... it's severely distressing when I was reassured multiple times my food was fine when it wasn't...
This is why all allergens are taken seriously and not to be neglectful!!!

Also take note that I have french fries on my plate due to my garlic allergy with their mashed potatoes having garlic which was more than a fine substitute to avoid an allergic reaction, it doesn't matter at that point when they give me garlic regardless and FRESH garlic on my steak, kitchen was aware and failed to make me a safe meal with no excuse either. All my steak needed was oil or butter and maybe salt+pepper!!!

The food was bad, I ordered a medium steak but it was extremely overcooked, the meat was not of good quality, we left almost all the food, one does not expect to pay too much for a bad experience, we arrived home with a stomach ache and went straight to the bathroom.

Bought a Groupon for this place so we ate a very expensive meal and when it came to pay they refused the Groupon so we got stuck with a huge bill. Scammers!

Friday, winter not very busy, we ordered some crab cakes as a starter and as soon as we cut them a strong smell comes, they were bad. We returned them, not an apology nor did they ask us if we wanted another dish in exchange. We were waiting for the main course (2 cuts of meat) and after 50 minutes waiting (and there were only 3 tables occupied) we better canceled the order and left (they still charged me for the beer I had). The only thing worth it was the view.

We had a reservation but were caught off guard by the traffic (google estimated drive time wrong) and we were late so they had given the window table away. So we sat across the aisle and although they say you can still see the falls, not really. The fireworks view was hindered by people and posts, but we didn’t expect them so no biggie. The food was good, what was expected for the price point, not amazing but good. Unfortunately, maybe staff was low, so the service wasn’t great and the process of dinner took over 2.5 hours. The restaurant itself doesn’t have any kind of vibe and doesn’t really have atmosphere.

Romantic date night with my girlfriend was amazing! I loved how our table was directly overlooking the Canadian and American falls. The view was spectacular. The calamari was truly delicious. Perfect couch and tender texture with a fantastic spicy dip. The tenderloin was cooked exactly as we ordered. The carrots on the side were a little too tough, but the mashed potatoes and red wine sauce were amazing. Our server had excellent timing to bring us our next dishes within minutes of finishing the appetizer and entree. After dinner, the lights went out so we could enjoy a fabulous fireworks show, and our cheesecake came out immediately afterward. This won me Brownie points with my lady. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a romantic date night overlooking the falls.
