Sweet Jesus… but not for the right reasons! Unfortunately, that won’t be a cry of joy. The customer service here is seriously lacking. The cashier seemed confused and got our order wrong. When we went downstairs to pick it up, we waited forever — and the staff were downright rude. What’s worse, people who ordered after us got their orders before us! If you’re looking to enjoy a nice family outing, just walk a bit further up Clifton Hill near the Fudge Factory — the lady there is always smiling and the service is excellent

When we arrived, the employees were already arguing with customers about a refund. The welcome was cold, the cashier seemed annoyed and didn’t listen properly to the orders. There were no clear signs showing where the line started or ended.
Downstairs, when picking up the order, it was absolute chaos: customers weren’t served in order, but rather at the employees’ whim. The churros were dry and tasteless, adding to the disappointment.
The churros were very stale. Brought some family from abroad to try this place and it was terrible

Wish I could leave zero stars. Not a single sign advertises that specific flavors are vegan. Why would I ever intentionally order VEGAN ice cream? The woman at the counter would not refund or exchange my order. I mean sweet jesus, this place sucks

Staple ice cream spot to go to when by the niagara falls. They have unique ice cream flavors and toppings . The service is great, they are quick and generous with serving size. It can be very busy since it is in a touristy area. But overall great.

A Bit of a Letdown This Time Around
We’ve had Sweet Jesus before—mostly at mall locations—and we’ve usually really enjoyed it. But this time around on Clifton Hill, it just didn’t wow us.
We went with milkshakes: I got the Birthday Cake, and my wife got the Mango. Hers was okay, but my Birthday Cake shake was super underwhelming. It was way too liquid-y, the cake bits had an odd texture, and the overall flavour was just bland. Normally Sweet Jesus is known for bold, indulgent treats, but this one fell flat. Also the cardboard straws are TERRIBLE. Broke a couple just trying to get them through the plastic lid.
The location didn’t help either—Clifton Hill has gotten way more crowded than it used to be, and this spot became chaotic pretty fast. Might’ve just been an off visit, but based on this experience, we’d probably stick to the mall locations next time.

We had Hot Mess Brownie and oh my god - that’s fabulous. Eva prepared it and she poured her Heart in. She made a great ice cream for us and believe me - don’t go by the pic, the ice cream is atleast 2x size. Good to feed 3-5 people honestly (even after that, you will be left with some). Thanks Eva, again !!!
