Aroma Espresso Bar

Aroma is one of those unique cafes which tries to embody the full European cafe experience. And, while this can be difficult in a non-European location, they do a pretty good job!!
On the day that my guests and I visited this location, a bus of tourists from Spain made sure they stopped and enjoyed a cup of their favourite beverage.
The food offerings are fresh and tasty. And, the staff are friendly, despite the language barriers they were working through with the visiting Spaniards.
It is for this reason that we usually make the effort to stop from our shopping experience and enjoy the atmosphere of this location. Keep up the great work!!

I often order the chicken avocado sandwich, but this time was quite disappointing. The bread wasn’t toasted, and there was very little filling in the sandwich. To make matters worse, I found a hair inside it. It seemed like the person who prepared it was in a rush and didn’t bother to toast the bread properly.

My previous experiences had been good, but this one was the worst. After discovering the hair, I threw the food away. It feels like the employees don't follow proper protocols when preparing food. Additionally, the taste was off, as if old ingredients were used.

Overall, I had a poor experience.

We had a lovely lunch- great food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I want to especially comment about our interaction with Hozan, who rushed over to clean our table as it was busy in the restaurant. She was very eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Rushed to get us waters, and kept checking back to clear dishes and see if we needed anything. She was very busy, and we noticed she took a moment to get a dog bowl and water for a customer. Want to just recognize her efforts, friendliness and eagerness to make our experience the best it could be.
If I had a business, I would for sure want to have her working for me- hope she can be recognized for EXCELLENT customer service. 5 Star Plus- Bravo- to Hozan- a very proud new Canadian!!So glad we got to meet her

I recently visited the cafe and while the food and ambiance were excellent, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff appeared unfriendly and seemed upset, with no smiles or warmth, which made the experience less enjoyable. It felt as though they were irritated, and that dampened the otherwise pleasant visit. If the team could work on improving their attitude and approach toward customers, it would significantly enhance the overall experience, especially given the high foot traffic in the mall.

Aroma is always a good choice if you want to enjoy a good quality coffe or variety of tea. My favourite is Ice coffe hazelnut.
