food tasted AMAZING and the service and ambiance were lovely. there was something for everyone on the menu and many wonderful dishes that not every Indian restaurant serves :)) the Aura Poutine was SO good👌

Was really excited about trying Aura On The Lake. For a Saturday night it was slower than I would have expected. The Washrooms need some attention, the atmosphere inside the restaurant could use a makeover. The food was good, but not outstanding, My wife had the Chef's Special Lamb Chops which appeared made to order and she said they were delicious; I sampled the sauce and it was very good. My boyfriend and I went here a few evenings ago for dinner. I am vegan, and the old town of NOTL does not have a lot of options for me. There were not very many customers in the restaurant, which seemed unusual, but we stayed anyway. They answered my questions regarding which side options were vegan and accommodated me. However, I ordered the dal and my boyfriend ordered the chef special lamb chops. The server came out to us after quite a long wait and said the kitchen staff did...
