got in line at 4, said 1 group was ahead of us, an hour and 45 minutes later they had seated and served 5 other walk up groups without reservations, and not seated the group ahead of us either. terrible experience and not the first time this has happened.

Absolutely love this place!!! Food is simply amazing and the drinks flow pretty good too! It’s a bit busy on a Wednesday night but since patience is a virtue, I don’t mind waiting.

I can’t even begin to describe how aesthetic this lounge of the vintage hotel was — it felt like stepping into the 1800s.

I went there to gather a bit of my energy and sit down at at table to write down a little story , but instead i met a plethora of interesting people.

The Music was from a piano player.

the Staff was friendly all alon, smiling and laughing with the clients.

The Burger was a succulent enormous beef patty, almost too big to eat with you hands.

the fries were awesome thick cut potato !

i went there as part of my
Crosscountry Bikepacking Antiquarian trip with Chuck my TravellingParrot ( youtube )

Tim was a real Gentlement .

REcommend this place.

Parrot Friendly Environement.

The Churchill lounge is a fantastic place. While staying at the hotel, we stopped in here for a pint and some dinner, so glad we did. This place had such an amazing vibe. The staff were all extremely friendly. They had a great selection of beers on tap. We grabbed a burger and a pizza. They were both delicious. We had an amazing experience here. Thank you, Churchill lounge staff.

Visited Nov. 30 - Avoiding a couple other very packed restaurants for here. Has a cozy vibe, especially when you get a spot in front of the fire.

We ordered some drinks, had a burger & the fish sandwich. Also a shared dessert. The burger was fresh, homemade, & tasted great. The fish was delicious & had a great sauce (gribiche I think?). & the best part of all, real fries.
Overall came to just over $100 due to our drinks. (drinks were little pricey but on par with most places)

Great service, sports on the tv, relaxing atmosphere. Would go again.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by wheelchair from road & through hotel it’s attached too

The good and not so good..

Would like to rate as a 3.5 but not an option

Great lounging atmosphere, live entertainment.

It was full but not noisy.

Service was good but a little sporadic, ie didn't clear glasses, plates when we were done with them but took away a cocktail that was not finished (3/4 finished)

Had the burger and a NOTL Salad..
Promising but not worth the money..

Burger (with cheese and bacon) cost $32 with fries. All the ingredients were good (pickle, brioche, tomatoe etc) but the burger itself was dry and overcooked. The fries were thick cut and very good.

The NOTL Salad was large with nice ingredients however the Apple Cider vinegrette was overwhelming and to acidic. The salad lacked balance. Some honey or maple in the dressing is needed. I say this as someone in the culinary field. There was a 'pool' of vinegrette remaining in the bottom of the plate in the end, perhaps 2 tablespoons or more.
On a personal note, the salad would benefit from blue cheese instead of feta.

One observation was that tables were not cleared after the guests left. I observed 3 tables of dirty plates and leftover food that remained that way for a majority of the time we were there. These were in the area between the lounge and the dining room, and were observed as I went passed them on the way to the washrooms.. For an 'iconic luxury' property I would find this to be unexpected and unacceptable if I were working or managing the area and makes me, as a guest, question where else is the oversight lacking..

Nor sure if the TVs detract or enhance the space, as they take away from the live entertainment and can be seen as disrespect towards the talent. It maybe acceptable if it was a sportsbar with live music, but as a beautiful lounge, it deters from the experience.

As someone who frequents the Niagara region regularly (Burlington) we will return in the future but maybe on a Wednesday fir the burger, just to see if our experience was a 1 off or the norm

Digesting whether or not $120 for dry but promising burger, salad, 1.75 cocktails is justified or not..
The space itself is definitely worth a visit though

Chicken wings and fries for $60. Chicken wings were bland and over cooked. Fries were soggy.

Cozy cocktail bar in NOTL. On the pricier side but what we expected based on location and ambiance. Lovely staff.

Would return!

Terrible experience entering via the door on the street corner. Three separate staff members treated us like we were invisible and then a waitress annoyedly waved us in a general direction. Apparently reception is around the corner out of sight, and if you arrive from the door on the corner nobody can tell that you've just arrived. It was busy, but I can only conclude that was in spite of the service, not because of it. Extra signage would help patrons get off on the right foot.

We were waiting at the entrance just to be seated forever, and nobody said anything. Finally someone said go further, and we kept waiting just to be confirmed where to get the table. It was a lot of stuff, and it was Wednesday night. It seems like they didn't want our business.
