Came in for a drink and a snack. We had a bottle of wine and the charcuterie board. Eric was our waiter and he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and excellent at his job. The food, atmosphere and service were wonderful. Thank you!

Fabulous drinks and dishes presented beautifully. Delicious alternative to nearby pubs. Classy ambience but reservations not needed. Thank you server Jason :)

Waited awhile for service - Had the Fish & Chips, mushy peas were served cold - napkins & utensils were served a little while after the food was delivered - no water refills offered - very much attention paid to table next to us, and many visits/discussions, but we were feeling left out - at table near fireplace, little tyke shouting & screaming on periodic basis, hurt my ears… so how would you rate this luncheon??

Jake our server was amazing. His customer service was exceptional. The chef accommodated the fish batter to our dietary needs. The hotel and lounge itself has such a grand feel. All the staff from the entrance of the lounge are all wonderful. Special thanks to Jake and the chef at the Churchill Lounge. Would definitely recommend!

For context, my four-person party went on $5 burger night.
We waited two hours for a table and only stayed because we hoped the food would be worth it.
Many people were stuck waiting in the hallway, commiserating about their wait times. There was a strange camaraderie among those forced to stand due to the lack of seating, despite having already been on their feet all day.
At last, our name was called and we were seated—only to wait another 20 minutes before a server came to take our order.
The drinks were quite small, so once the food arrived, we asked for a refill (more on this later). I’ll admit the fries were the highlight of the meal, because the burgers were dry and one was even burnt. You’d never know there was supposedly a one-hour seating policy; the servers were busy chatting with other patrons while we sat with empty plates, waiting for someone to clear them so we could pay and leave.
When our server finally came by, we told them not to bother with the drink refill we had never received, since we were finished and ready to pay. Somehow, in this upside-down world, “please don’t bring the refill we don’t need” was interpreted as “bring it anyway with the bill so you can charge us for it.”
When we pointed this out, the server muttered that he was “just doing his job.” That doesn’t exactly leave me with warm feelings or a desire to give this establishment another chance.
So as you can guess, I would not recommend this restaurant and I will do my best to avoid it as well.

Wonderful customer service
Nice atmosphere and live music
Came in today for lunch.
Had fish and chips, and a peach Cosmo, very good.
Was served by Ava, an absolute pleasure. We are locals and I think this may just become our new favorite spot.❤️

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my recent visit left much to be desired on both the service and food fronts.
To start, the service was slow and inattentive. Our server seemed disengaged, displaying visible frustration through frowns and eye-rolls, which made the experience uncomfortable and clearly unwelcome.
As for the food, it didn’t redeem the service issues. The fish and chips were decent but overly greasy. The beef stew, however, was dry, bland, and lacked hearty broth one would expect. It tasted more like leftover roast beef than a proper stew.
This visit felt like a missed opportunity. With better training in service and more care in the kitchen, this restaurant could truly improve. I hope management takes this as honest feedback, not criticism for criticism’s sake.

Was a busy day but I got a seat quickly. The bartender was nice and service was quick enough, though the food was not up to standard. The burger patty was dry and flavourless and the fries were pretty much burnt. They shouldn’t be serving burnt food to guests. I would try again if they promise to improve their food quality.

Dropped by this spot while visiting Niagara Falls. It’s a vintage-style hotel with a bar, lounge, and patio on the first floor. I really liked the nostalgic charm of the interior — lots of character.
The food was up to par. I ordered a salad, but they forgot the candied pecans. After I pointed it out, the staff quickly brought a dish of them on the side. The burger and Fish & Chips were also within expectations.
Service was friendly overall. The female staff member who hosted us was warm and attentive.
