Colaneri Estate Winery

This place is seriously amazing. The exterior is beautiful with the old stylistic buildings and trees, to the interior with the magnificent paintings and artwork. Our tasting was entertaining and intriguing, and our lovely host Cheyrl was wonderful. I seriously recommend this place and if you were to come, get Cheyrl as the host!

Picturesque ... Best location and view. The food options are limited, the pizzas are good

The winery building is breath taking as you approach, looking like something right out of the Italian countryside.
You can book private tastings, but we opted for lunch on the patio with a tasting flight of three wines each. This is offered Fri-Sun only. This is a 'first come first served' option and we had no problem being seated, although the patio filled up quickly. We chose our three wines for tasting with the help of a knowledgeable server, and enjoyed a wood fired pizza along with them. The glasses of wine, and even the tasting glasses, are quite expensive compared to other winery tasting opportunities, however the atmosphere was amazing. After lunch, we headed inside the building which is a facade for a hall/private tasting room, stainless steel vats, and the retail store. We did enjoy our relaxing lunch and tasting without any pressure to buy, although we did bring home three bottles!

Enjoyed wine tasting experience. Loved hearing about how the wine labels were chosen. The tasting room has large windows but it would be nice if the staff explaining the wines, were at eye level rather than standing above us while we sat. The Chardonnay was our favourite! Very knowledgeable staff. Rick our host was super Welcoming, he even welcomed us with our names on a whiteboard! Excellent at explaining history of the family and winery.

We absolutely love their wines, particularly for me their Pinot Grigio, the color of this white wine is amazing. The lady that helped us was very kind and she knows her wines. The only minus for us is that you have to make reservations for the wine tasting. We bought our wines because we know them but otherwise we would have left
