OMG Il Gelato di Carlotta on Queen St in Niagara-on-the-Lake is an absolute must! The gelato is top tier, you will be instantly transported to Italy in one taste! My favourites are Gianduja, Pistachio, Stracciatella, Strawberry, and Cranberry! I always come here when visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake. Excellent gelato! There was so much good stuff to try in this shop, but I only had gelato. Will definitely return to sample other things and additional flavors. Another place on the street had a long line all day long, but I really enjoyed this one.

It’s very cozy inside with a friendly welcome from the staff. You are immediately greeted with kindness and sometimes a fun joke.I came for breakfast a couple of times and I was surprised at the amount of people that knew the staff, they had conversations like long time friends.
