McFarland House Reviews
Just go to trail, find a bench and relax under the cherry blossom trees!
First timer, amazing experience, love the glass sun room. Decor, service and view amazing. Food was good, but no missed the meat items. The one sandwich that did have chicken was so like a paste, so didn't realize it was meat. I didn't mind the tea press kettles, felt more flavorful and stronger taste
Best scones around!! Beautiful garden and a must-stop-through if driving or biking along the path. Seriously incredible scones.

McFarland House offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a romantic date or a break from the kids on vacation. The dining area, surrounded by glass, creates a serene ambiance with gentle classical music, including pieces like Vivaldi's Four Seasons, playing in the background. Guests can enjoy delightful food, including freshly baked scones and a full tea selection served in beautiful tableware, along with a variety of loose-leaf teas such as Windsor and Earl Grey. The service can sometimes be disappointing, with instances of having to flag down staff for refills or the check, but the staff are friendly and attentive when present. Visitors can also take a guided tour of the house, which provides interesting insights into its history and the owner, enhancing the overall experience. The house's location in a beautiful setting with lush gardens and grounds creates a romantic backdrop, especially when viewed from the sunroom. The decor features period costumes that add a charming touch. Overall, McFarland House remains a lovely venue for a special occasion or a relaxing afternoon, despite minor service hiccups.
