Niagara College Teaching Winery has some excellent wines and is a beautiful facility but avoid their wine club at all costs. We signed up last fall. They have events where you can either pick up the wine selections in person or they will be shipped to you by courier. An email goes out two weeks before a pickup party asking which option you would like, and if you are going to pick it up in person. I've spent almost two weeks now chasing the staff to find out what happened to our wine. Apparently it was shipped out but the tracking number shows it was damaged in transit and they are not responding to emails or calls. I'm calling my bank to have them refund it on my credit card.

I went there for the wine tasting at the end of a tour.
I really enjoyed it. We got to taste white and red wine, as well as icewine. The staff explained a bit about each one and specially about icewine.
The store has a lot of interesting products,I just wished they had a smaller bottle of icewine, so I could take it home on my carry on luggage.

Unfriendly waitress, bad and unwelcoming atmosphere, extremly expensive. Avoid.

Went there for this ice wine festival but there is so much more there. As a teaching school for a brewery, distillery, as well as the winery. Really enjoyed their single malt whiskey .Great knowledgeable staff and a beautiful view. Would go again.

I had family visiting from the U.S. and was interested in doing the winery tour. Unfortunately we were too late for the scheduled daily tour. However, we got still got tour by Brad who spoke to us about the history of winemaking in the region, different wines, the college and vineyard/winery. It was very educational and interesting. The rest of the staff was lovely as well. Highly recommend!

A gem of a find! On a trip from Ohio was given a recommendation by our hotel to try this unique vineyard maintained by the college students. Could not have started our wine tasting adventure at a better spot! Not only were the wines and spirits beautifully crafted, all the staff were quite welcoming and knowledgeable. One server in particular stood out, sharing her personal philosophy/journey on the craft wine making in Canada as well as her home country of Turkey. It was truly a moving experience. Thank you.
