This was one of the best tasting Thai I've ever had! Homemade noodles and spring rolls Everyone was so pleased with their meals thank you
Service was absolutely perfect. Our server was cheerful and helpful in making sure my allergies were addressed. And she kept checking on us during the meal. The food was very fresh tasting, as if it were made for us moments before it was served. My husband had a ginger dish and I had a basil dish with rice and shrimp. We had mango sorbet for dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant!
A great restaurant serving delicious food. My hubby and I enjoyed a Thai meal here before going to the theatre. It is very conveniently situated in the beautiful town of Niagara on the Lake and just a short walk to the Shaw Festival theatre. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
This review is only for the food we ordered!
The lowest review I ever did.
First, lets talk about the tomyum soup! Just for the tomyum alone cost $14 and plus $5 for 3 pcs large shrimp. This is a robbery! Imagine if I didn’t add the shrimp 1 cup of soup with a bit of mushroom will cost you $14 not fair and worst was I can not even yell if its tom yum or just a sour and salty clear soup. Way too far from the real tomyum even fusion tomyum soup. 👎👎👎
Chef pad thai special? 👎👎food court pad thai taste even way better. Their appetizer 👎. not even their “famous” coconut shrimp taste good.
Just a bad decision to choose these place. Not living up to the their 4.2 google reviews and 4.7 open table review. Will not go back to this place wasted my money.
However if you want good service then this is the place you want to be.
The service was good and the restaurant looks nice. Unfortunately, the food was not.
I've been to dozens of Thai restaurants, and this is probably the only one where I didn’t like the Pad Thai. I'm guessing it’s a variation I’ve never had before since it tasted nothing like what I’m used to. The panang curry was ok, but very bland.
As always Carol and AJ demonstrate what 5 star customer is! Always a pleasure to be at Niagara's Finest Thai.
ordere their appetizer platter, aesthetically looks delicious but tastes so ordinary. Disappointed with their tomyum soup. Just for the plain soup with a bit of mushroom will cost you $14, I added $5 for shrimp, paid $19 for plain 1 cup sour and salty tomyum. The taste not even close to tomyum. The chef's special pad thai, forget it. I don't know with their other dish but with what we orderes it was a huge disappointment. Not living up to their 4.7 open table review. If they have 4.7 review their dishes should have a consistent taste not a guess what dish taste good. Not sure if I am going back to this place again. First impression lasts. But with service, excellent service.
Great pre-theatre dinner with my wife. Excellent service by a Thai waitress whose name escapes me. She was outstanding in every way. Food was excellent and and interesting, and at least as good as what we enjoyed at a 5 star hotel in Bangkok a few years ago.
We had the assorted appetizers and chefs pad Thai. Both were delicious and service was good food.
Service was excellent and attentive — a real highlight of the evening. However, I was expecting a more elegant atmosphere; it felt more like casual dining. The spicy noodle dish was extremely hot — too much for my taste. On the other hand, the coconut shrimp was fantastic — clearly fresh and well-prepared. Overall, great service, but the vibe and heat level of the meals weren't quite what I was hoping for.

There was little to no protein in the dishes despite being fairly expensive. The sauces were sickly sweet to the point of being inedible. The pad thai noodles were boiled instead of fried and lacked all the key ingredients that make pad thai taste good (tamarind, peanuts, fried tofu, garlic, green onion etc). The vegetables they chose to use in the main courses don't go well with the cuisine (zucchini and cherry tomatoes in stir fry!?!?). The prices were way too high for what you're getting.
Good food, not nearly as authentic as we had hoped - more catered to a Canadian taste; fast & professional service. Would go back.
Service was excellent and very personable from the moment we arrived. Very personalized attention throughout our dining experience including great wine recommendation. Food was delicious and beautiful presented! Cannot wait to return!
First visit and we loved it food was amazing, portion are very generous easy to order few and share. Service was great fast delivery to table.
Every time I come here, the food and experience is always amazing. Not once have I ever had a bad meal. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
